since the demo is FINALLY out i can now ask the question ive dying to ask:
what is your favorite scene/scenes in step 2?

for me, i have quite a lot. one of them is just the silly interaction between qiu and tamarack when the mc was calling qiu to tag along and their papers flew all over the place. the conversation that came after that is just so funny to me, i especially loved it when qiu said "be free my children" and tamarack just replied with "more like be litter."

another one is the diner scene where the two of them fight over the seats, its pretty amusing for me and also feels so nostalgic i almost wanted to shed tears TT

(hm: when we get assigned homerooms and qiu is the only one in mr. stevenson, their reaction is so silly i love it)

im going insane

its nice to know im not the only one who has refreshed the page more than a couple times this hour

a quick question to past the time: how do others view your mc at school?

his design is so peak, we love you athri!!!! his personality sounds really interesting, i cant wait to see more content about him

noel LOVES raw salmon, it on anything and they'll gobble it up within seconds. they have two favorite colors, green and orange! they may have a not so secret crush on qiu aswell 🌝

im still a new born in this community so i dont have much to work with but my vote is set on izzy!!!! i also really like timmy, these mcs just really catch my eye 🌝🌝

i think pants would fit better but go with what you desire!!

for the question, noel will ALWAYS prefer the town over the forest. the bugs, the itchy grass and not knowing what lies ahead of the walking paths is too much for them. they think the forest is an icky place. but even with all this hatred, they have managed to tolerate it just for the sake of the others, especially for the queen of the forest, tamarack! 

over the years though, they have gradually grown to appreciate the beauty of nature but no cool tall trees could ever compare the the endless aisles of the corner shop or a sweet walk in the town

absolutely scrumptious art, i never thought about a fantasy au for them but holy hell its amazing 😻😻😻

STOP. it's getting to me too holy gosh. same thing happened to me too but instead with we fell in love in october and tamarack, please tell me you see it too...

just a pure coincidence but i happened to edit qiu to love me not a few months ago!

noel absolutely loves opal. theyre really grateful to have her as their ma, having to take care of them by her own is not an easy job and noel knows it. 

as for moving into golden grove, noel was thrilled. she found it exciting to finally move out of that shabby apartment and finally feel the full neighborhood experience. upon arriving, best to say her expectations were met. the only thing she was worried about was how the people would view her but the friendly neighbors freed her from her worries

right from first glance, noel (my mc) looked at baxter with stars in her eyes. something about baxter being a fancy rich kid really interested her! she developed a small crush on him later on but quickly moved on and started seeing him more as a brother figure instead. 

for ren on the other hand, she didn't like him. AT ALL. you know how ren is just so slightly more distant to girls but noel really took that personally, thinking he didn't like her and that started the one-sided beef between the two of them which lasted for about 2 years

also heres some info about them!!!!! 

their name is noel, theyre non-binary (they/them) but isn't very open about it. only a few friends along qiu and tamarack know, their ma or any other adults just refers to them as a female unknowingly due to them being too afraid to come out completely

very outgoing!!! they love giving hugs!! 

their most beloved is qiu but theyre also super close friends with tamarack. they admire baxter a lot as well, almost considering him as their older brother

starting from step 1,  my mc had always had a crush on qui ever since their meeting and became best friends with tammy just a few days after meeting. same relationships with step 2, my mc hangs out with tamarack a lot more than with qui but they lowkey fold everytime they're with them...
