Everything is awesome, it's just the fact the graphics are by AI, but next time even if the graphics turn out bad draw it yourself as then it will reflect your bright ideas!
🌱 Thank you so much for the kind words! 💖
I used AI tools to assist with many tasks, but every asset was iteratively refined and customized to fit the theme. That way, even as a solo developer, it was possible to bring the whole visual style together. (3dmodel, image editing etc.)
So yes, it’s a one‑person team effort, with AI helping as a creative partner.
💖 I’m glad you enjoyed —it means a lot to us. ✨
Your feedback will help shape the game, and the final version will be out soon.
When the game is complete, I’d be delighted if you’d return to explore it!
🌸 Thank you so much!
Did you guys create the graphics yourself? If so, that's amazing!

I’m glad you found the gameplay entertaining and the tutorial helpful. You’re absolutely right — some options and animations need improvement, and your feedback will help guide those improvements. ✨ This demo menu was kept minimal for the jam, but the final version will be smoother and more refined.
I hope you’ll revisit when it’s ready — your encouragement means a lot! 🚀

why does it look like ai?
🌱 Thank you so much for playing! 💖
The assets weren’t entirely generated by AI — I used AI tools to assist with many tasks, but every asset was iteratively refined and customized to fit the theme. That way, even as a solo developer, it was possible to bring the whole visual style together.

Amazing graphics — really beautiful visual style! 😍
After clicking the checkmark button, I needed to click again and it sent me into a really nice simple tutorial, which I loved. But after that I wasn’t sure what to do next. I clicked the home button, then the checkmark again, and it sent me into another tutorial screen — I got a bit confused about where I was supposed to go 😅
When I finally typed my name and pressed the home button again, the actual game started — but I’m still not sure why it worked at that moment.
So I think simplifying the flow there would help a lot for new players 👍
Overall the game is simple and very beautiful — feels like something perfect for phone or tablet, especially for kids 👌
I only missed keyboard controls (like arrow keys) on PC, but that’s just my personal preference.
Great work!

Menu & Onboarding: In the jam build, first-time players are directed to the settings section for nickname setup and a basic guide (what to catch/avoid). You’re absolutely right that the opening menu feels confusing. Because of file size and other limits, the setup was kept minimal, but the full release will feature a clearer, streamlined menu so players can jump in without friction.
🎮 Your encouragement means a lot, and your feedback will directly shape improvements. I hope you’ll revisit when the final version is ready—it’s going to be lovely! 🚀
Thanks again...
Wow that's pretty good. Very creative. Anyway please try my game series Skyline Master.

🌳 Yo Jam squad! Your chaotic forest goblins (aka Glimmerwood Catchlings) are back to MISINTERPRET the theme in the best way possible 🌱✨🧹
Players be like: “Wait… in this demo we just grow tiny plants… but where’s the ‘Take Control’??” 🥺👉👈
Oh, we heard “Take Control” loud and clear. We took it so seriously we’re basically the HOA presidents of the entire ecosystem now.
Planting a sapling in the demo? That’s just the warm-up. 🌱 The real “Take Control” begins when those saplings start demanding sunlight rights.
Because they’re not just saplings anymore—in the final game they’ll evolve from “cute desk decorations” into fully armed environmental overlords inside the brand-new Catchling Sanctuary zone.
And trust me, the Sanctuary isn’t just a cozy garden. When you roll up with a backpack full of saplings, the game whispers: “Welcome home, war criminal. Time to take control… for real.” 🌍🔥
Appreciate your time and support!!!!
Fingers crossed this plants an extra star in our surrounding environment rating 🌱⭐.
I liked the fun

Managed to get a score of 4055 on my first try. which put me at 5th on the leader board.
The audio stands out, really good job there.
Gameplay loop is simple and seems very replayable.
At some points I felt way too slow compare to how fast items were falling.
The screen fade transition felt way too slow for me.
Also I didn't really understand what some of the bugs were doing.
Bugs:
Character's walking animation keeps playing when not moving.
While writing this comment I left the game open and the audio stopped looping.
Not sure if I just missed it but there's no way to exit the game other than closing the tab?
🌟 Thank you so much for sharing such detailed feedback—it really helps us improve! 💖
Huge congrats on hitting 4055 and landing 5th place on your first try—that’s impressive! 🎉 I’m glad the audio and replay loop stood out positively.
Thanks for pointing out the confusion around the bugs. We’ll make their roles clearer in the final build.
Game exit: game's pc version has exit. but I was unable to figure out what kind of exit flow I should put for web version(And for game jam).

I experienced a bug where I was caught in the opening menu for a long time. I just kept ending up in the settings and I wasn't sure if there even was a game. Eventually, I got to the game, and I was still kind of confused. The bugs stood out a lot more than the other falling items, and I thought I was supposed to catch those. Eventually, I figured it out, and then I was engaged, and it was cool to see the plants you could grow. It's a pretty easy game once you get the hang of it.
I noticed many of the animations are pretty stiff and sometimes look awkward. I wasn't a fan of the mismatched art styles. I suspect much of this game was made with ai, but with no info about it, I don't know if it is just the art or if the whole thing was "vibe coded". I think it's nice to have transparency about the tools you used, and it would help me to provide better feedback. Keep it up!

Animations & Art Style: The creatures and characters were intentionally designed with a clay-like, shiny 3D style, while the backgrounds draw inspiration from kirigami craft—symbolizing the idea of “crafting the environment.” ✨ My goal was to deliver something unique and original rather than conventional, and your honest feedback helps me better understand player expectations.
Transparency: Many assets were AI-assisted, but each was iteratively refined with a focus on originality and theme. Full details are included in the Credits – Gratitude Section.

My best: 3160 points
okay This game is in a lot of aspects, unique. Its art and composition is complicated to understand at the beginning, but the instructions and within the first 2 minutes of gameplay, you understand a lot of things (there are others that you need to review more times the instructions).
As a demo or prototype, the game is very very cool. I like A LOT the visuals (when I got used to them), the music and the essence or soul of the game. But I think that there a lot of things can be improved:
Menu system. It is chaotic and difficult to navigate between them until finally starting playing. The simpler, the better.
More info in the instructions. Using visuals are very clever, but sometimes adding some text could be a better support.
Messy music / effects / NPCs dancing… (I’m 47, maybe it’s my age hehehe). Sometimes it’s a bit confusing.
Sprite animations. Why sometimes the pot is always walking and why sometimes it is not walking even when I move it?
Congratulations. This game is really unique, in a very good way
Congrats!!!! your score is 2nd best among all players, ( No 1 to 4 are developers score ).
🌸 Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful feedback! 💖
I’m truly glad the art resonated with you—it means a lot. ✨
Menu & Guide: The current menu and onboarding were designed specifically for the jam, with file size and other constraints in mind. For the full release, the menu will be redesigned and improved, and your input will play an important role in shaping it.
Music & Effects: The creatures and characters were intentionally crafted with a clay-like, shiny 3D style, while the backgrounds draw inspiration from kirigami craft—symbolizing the idea of “crafting the environment.” ✨ My goal was to create something unique and original rather than conventional, and your feedback helps me better understand player expectations. If any music or effects aren’t working, that’s a bug.
With your age bonus multiplier, you’ve secured the silver medal spot on leaderboard! 🥈 That officially makes your feedback and expectations impossible for me to dodge as a developer.😜
Sprite Animations: When a special object falls, the pot’s run/walk animations should pause, and it should point toward that object. I’ll refine this so that in the final version, players learn it step by step. And Thanks for highlighting —I’ll ensure idle animations behave correctly.
🎮 Your encouragement gives us a huge boost—thank you again, and I hope you’ll revisit when the final version is ready!
