I love this kind of escape room mechanic, and I thought the atmosphere and storytelling were excellent. Great job, it's a solid entry.

Developer

Thank you! :) happy you enjoyed it!

I really liked the concept here — especially how the ending leaves you uncertain about what’s real and what’s not. The visuals fit the tone perfectly, and the whole thing has that quiet unease that good psychological horror needs. A few more hints for the puzzle or an extra clarity pass on the ending would make it perfect. Awesome work!

Developer

Thank you for feedback! :) definitely we need to work on our puzzle game :D Happy you enjoyed it!

I wasn't able to solve the puzzle, but the game had a pretty good premise for me to give a solid rating. There are a lot of good mechanics in here, and I would love to see a full-size game for this.

Developer

Thank you! :) definitely we need to work the puzzle a bit :) it's always either to complicated or to easy :D thank you for feedback! :)

Very intriguing, like others here mentioned I couldn't get past the puzzle but this would be a good game to expand into a multi-room thing. I do like that most of what's happening is left up to interpretation, personally I think this escape room-like room that our character has found themselves in is an allegory for them trying to escape the thought of death. Fine game itself but a much better concept that could be expanded much more, good work!

Developer

thank you! :) escape room was an idea, and there was an idea to make more... but time :D I am happy you played and thanks for feedback :)

I wasn't able to solve the puzzle like some others mentioned.  Overall, there is a good start for a full blown multi-layer escape room type game.  I was going to make an escape room game as well, but opted for only two separate scenes in my submission.  There is almost a guaranteed scream in my submission, please give it a try.

Scream Jam 2025

When you find the grave with Dorothy Pennington, it video captures a few seconds to catch your 'jump scare' if you had one. (must have webcam enabled of course...)

It's shame but I understand, we lacked playtesting time :) still I am happy you played it and enjoyed it I will look at your game as well seems interesting!

Definitely the most oddly unsettling(in a good way) game I have played. I really feel bad for the swimmer. Congrats on creating such an experience. I would love to get a feedback for my game too. Thanks!

Developer

Thank you! :) it was what we were aiming for :) happy you enjoyed :) on my way to check out your game now!

Not gonna lie, the cover already scared me. The idea is really interesting with the escape room, and the atmosphere is great, playing the game actually made me feel nervous. Nicely done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! :) I am very happy we managed to do that, this was whole idea from start, make it uneasy not just add jump scares. This never happens, but can :D thank you for feedback!

I can tell you really designed this game with the player in mind — little details like the outline effect on nearby items show that clearly!

Also, I have a small request — could you make the subtitles a bit larger?
I didn’t have any trouble reading them myself, but some players might find the text size a little uncomfortable.

Developer

That's latest addition to godot engine, we had to implement it :D

Yes! we should do that! unfortunately we didn't have enough time to add options like size of subtitles, sound level or any other options ;/

This game was pretty interesting.  I don't think I completely grasped the story, and I might need a second playthrough to really get everything -- but I managed to enjoy this.  I liked the puzzle, though it did give me a good run for my money.  Thankfully, I figured it out after a couple of attempts.  The gimmick of returning to the mirror to figure out what you *think* you look like was really cool!  A small nitpick, but I do wish the dialogue boxes and menus were a little more intuitive, as they do feel a little clunky.  Aside from that, this was a pretty solid experience.

Developer

We are still discussing if the puzzle is good enough, bunch of people just didn't solve it and it's a sign that there should be some additional hint. We didn't use all items for it and that was a mistake!

it is clunky and we didn't make a proper system for it from start but added on top of already existing one out of necessity that's where it became clunky, this should be redesigned, thank you for feedback!

Very interesting game! I definitely felt like the puzzle with the numbers was a bit confusing and probably could've used a little playtesting to better streamline it, but given that the game had a limited timeframe to be made, I can understand if stuff like that got missed. I actually found the story to be pretty interesting, and I was able to reach the ending. I think I understood the story by the end, and I was actually pretty curious about how things would turn out with the basic setup. On that front, I think you did a good job of hitting the horror side of things without needing crazy jumpscares or things of that sort, though I wonder how things could've been fleshed out if given more time in the oven. Overall, good job and great game!

Developer

Thank you for feedback! Happy you managed to solve this puzzle, like you said, we didn't have playtesting almost at all due to time constraines and when you know the answer, suddenly hints are so obvious that it's hard to realistically percieve their usefulness.

I am happy that you felt the horror build up, it was definitely our aim not to do any jumpscares, and just make player feel uneasy :)

Worst thing you can do to a human, rip their identity out of them. This is how it feels to be gaslit. Great job, amazing story.

Developer

Thank you for feedback! yes that's exactly main theme! just small look into tragic, pathologic situation

i could not play much the game do with a settings system to control the zoom speed it was to fast for me on a laptop using a touch pad and pinch to zoom on it, like the art style though where i could see it.

Developer(+1)

I am sorry to hear that, I will be honest, we haven't even tested it with laptops, that's valuable lesson to give an alternative controls to different platforms! thank you for feedback!

The game is small, but everything works fine. I liked the idea of gradually changing the character, it adds intrigue. But I especially liked the ending.

Developer

It is, it supposed to be as it can take 5 min or 30min depending on how you catch all hints. Thank you for feedback and I am happy you enjoyed it!

Submitted(+1)

Liked the ending, it was pretty trippy! Had some issues with object interaction where I had to be a certain distance away before 'E' would appear / where if I was right next to the object, I couldn't do anything with it (not sure if that was intentional?) But overall really liked the vibes :)

Developer

Happy you enjoy the ending, Idea influenced by the beginners guide ;)

huh I think that's just collisions and how we set them up, probably we should look into that and this is rather our mistake ;)

thank you for feedback!

Thanks awesome you liked it :)

Very cool game idea, I like the escape room feel it has to figuring out the key code of the diary. Well done!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! of course we wanted to add more puzzles but we had no time :p

Nice little game with interesting and actually dreadful story.

Keep up the good work!

Developer

Eeee nie wierzę że to zadziałało ;) thanks for playing! happy you liked it!

An interesting short horror game! The puzzles require some thinking, but the mouse sensitivity feels a bit too high. It would be nice to have a sensitivity setting.

Also, when I clicked “End Memorum” and the game froze, was that the ending? I wasn’t sure.

Developer

Setting is something we didn't have time to finish, another thing was menu so end memorum just quits program. It should loop to menu again... that isn't there... in initial release we had just ending animation play indefinitely and maybe it was better? :p

thanks for playing! :)
