Short but powerful. It definitely portraits the stages of dealing with illness and loss - would love to see this as a bigger game
Glad that you enjoyed. I would come around to this again and expand it.
Thanks for playing!
the art and the atmosphere of the game are very lovely!! every aspect of the game's design is used well to convey the story and i feel that you used the medium to its fullest while telling it!! thank you for the experience, well done!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate that!
Good story!
P.S: It's sad but well done
yeah, it was where my mind naturally went with the theme!
Thanks for playing it!
The art is beautiful and you have added audio that fit very well! You managed to set an immersive atmosphere for this game.
I appreciate that! I think the atmosphere is the one thing in game design that I have a somewhat grasp on.
the art is great! I think the cover art would be better if the font was little bigger and the words were placed like:
Dear Ms.
Phillips
well done!
My team and I would love if you'd play our game Infinite Body Problem and share what you think with a rating!!! (rated your game!)
I will consider the changes, thanks!
You got it!
It was a nice little experience, I really like the idea with the notes and the weather escalating.
Thank you. I could not figure out the puzzles systems that I wanted to, so the atmosphere and the story was all that I was leaning on.
It’s all about learning. You will grow bigger every gamejam ;)
Impactful little experience. Loved the art!
I was waiting for something after the black screen. Wow, what a story. Thanks for sharing this entry. Good music and effects too to capture the feelings.
When I first launched it in the HTML5 formatting the black screen popped up and I loved it. Decided to keep it permanently.
Nice little game! The black screen at the end was a good touch.
I really appreciate it! Was an accident, but quickly became a feature!
God damn, I wish more jam games were this! just little experiences that make you feel... something. That was honestly beautiful.
Coming from you, that is an absolute compliment. I really wanted to make something that I felt something about in the little time I had. Thank you!
Really cool game!, for how short it is it is really powerful!
I appreciate that! Having the realization of my capabilities, I felt the shorter experience would be good!
Thank you!
This made me feel things… I hope you’re happy with yourself! Very cool little game with a very minimal but impactful narrative. Awesome work.
Glad that you mostly enjoyed it! Hopefully it wasn’t too sad. Thanks!!
Cool rain effects. The game wasn't that well optimized, but it got the job done. Great job for your second game ever.
with optimization, can you be more specific? This is definitely something that I’d like to figure out to improve!
Sure. The window size - you are already aware of, but those things are a big deal.
But also the particles. I played on a weak computer and the last rain section was laggy because of it.
What I liked most about your game was the walking/running/idle animations. Maybe you can do games that profit more from your animations?
Wonderful input! I really appreciate it!
I will take that into account and work on some more animations!
Really cute game, the atmosphere, the backgrounds and the story were really lovely.
Very impressive especially for a first jam!
(I wasn't sure if anything is supposed to happened after you click the end object, or if the black screen signified the end)
Thank you so much! Originally the black at the end wasn’t intended, but when it played like that the first time, I loved it. Became part of the story.
Honestly, just really excited to make my first game and submit it to a jam!
