I liked the concept a lot, though I did get stuck in the maze for ages and cursed the devs lol. I did finally rescue the kitten with five lives. I think some hints on where to go would be good. I assumed the ghosts were hints or the fireplaces, but ended up just walking around till I tripped over the ending. Very cute and solid music choices. I loved the mechanics of the land of the dead getting clearer as you lose lives. Really great work, you should be proud.
Loved the art style, the sounds, the font you chose, and the little animation on it. Yes, it was a simple game, but I think it’s got the bones of a bigger game. The questions were a bit standard, but given it was done in five days, I’d not expect an amazing narrative. I think if you develop a story around it it coud really grow into something. Really good work!!
I’m really sorry, I got stuck at the point of pressing the power button, the cursor changed to have an exclamation point, but nothing happened when I left or right-clicked, and I clicked other things, but couldn’t progress. I’m probably missing something obvious. A shame because I liked the art and music, and it seemed like I’d enjoy it. I loved the use of a floppy disk and was a little disappointed I couldn’t play it through. Good job :)
Really interesting move mechanics. I struggled with some of the keys; it’s probably just me, but I think space would have been more comfortable than shift (but I’m not the best at hand-eye coordination!). Overall, a really interesting game with a clever movement mechanic that doubled as a puzzle. Awesome work! :)
Hiya, sadly, I got stuck at the frog section. Whenever I try using the ‘action’, which I assumed would be jump for a frog, I end up turning into a mushroom again :) I loved the concept, and I think if you follow the advice laid out by SupremeLordAlex it will improve the handling and visuals a lot. Good job!!
I feel this could have been a bit more cohesive, but the button that moved away from the cursor was evil, and could have been a whole game on its own :) Loved how you used it as a narrative device and implied pressing the button is killing someone. Really fun, creepy little game. (also, the monitor is nightmare fuel, it made me uncomfortable lol, good job!)
