Congrats on the score, you defo deserved it :)

Congrats on the score, you deserve it and should be proud :)

Congrats! You scored really well. You deserve it. :)

Congrats on scoring so well!! I’m happy for you :)

Came back to check your rankings, you did really well, so I expect to see a full game in the future 😉

Really cool game, sneaking this in as my probably last review. Found it a bit difficult because my fingers are dumb. Visuals were cool and I loved the flip mechanic.

I really enjoyed this game, despite getting stuck on some of the puzzles, but the concept wasn’t original, the mechanics were done originally. I loved the rocks in the pit.

I liked the concept a lot, though I did get stuck in the maze for ages and cursed the devs lol. I did finally rescue the kitten with five lives. I think some hints on where to go would be good. I assumed the ghosts were hints or the fireplaces, but ended up just walking around till I tripped over the ending. Very cute and solid music choices. I loved the mechanics of the land of the dead getting clearer as you lose lives. Really great work, you should be proud.

LOved this game, I couldn’t not play to the end. Really impressive for a five-day Jam. I am tempted to play again to find out what the scotch does, lol :)

Loved the art style, the sounds, the font you chose, and the little animation on it. Yes, it was a simple game, but I think it’s got the bones of a bigger game. The questions were a bit standard, but given it was done in five days, I’d not expect an amazing narrative. I think if you develop a story around it it coud really grow into something. Really good work!!

I liked this; it was chill, relaxed, and very positive despite the heavy subject matter, and the writing was good.

I’m really sorry, I got stuck at the point of pressing the power button, the cursor changed to have an exclamation point, but nothing happened when I left or right-clicked, and I clicked other things, but couldn’t progress. I’m probably missing something obvious. A shame because I liked the art and music, and it seemed like I’d enjoy it. I loved the use of a floppy disk and was a little disappointed I couldn’t play it through. Good job :)

I’ve never found it so hard to die in a game as I did for this one :D Maybe when I play other games, I should just run towards the danger. lol! Cool game, good job!!

This genuinely made me laugh. Nostalgic while being a fun new take on the Among Us theme. Brilliant work, you should be proud :)

Really cool game, very original way of matching the theme. I struggled a bit fighting the demon, but that’s more of a skill issue on my part than anything. Very impressive for creating in five days!

Really interesting move mechanics. I struggled with some of the keys; it’s probably just me, but I think space would have been more comfortable than shift (but I’m not the best at hand-eye coordination!). Overall, a really interesting game with a clever movement mechanic that doubled as a puzzle. Awesome work! :)

Interesting take on the theme with interesting characters. I chose Jamie :) And I liked the ending a lot, everything made a lot more sense when it hit.

I loved this and could see it easily being made into a bigger game with more life stages and events of the person. The additional helpers as pets died was a nice touch. Really cute game with an adorable end screen.

This was a really good little game. Well set up player that felt good to play and not too difficult to control or position. Mechanic was simple to understand, and I managed to finish it, so I could call that a win. Awesome work on your first game!

Really cool implementation. I struggled as I’m not that good at platformers to begin with, but I tried to be brave! It took me a little bit to understand the attacking downward while jumping as a navigation mechanic, but once I did, it worked smoothly.

Hiya, sadly, I got stuck at the frog section. Whenever I try using the ‘action’, which I assumed would be jump for a frog, I end up turning into a mushroom again :) I loved the concept, and I think if you follow the advice laid out by SupremeLordAlex it will improve the handling and visuals a lot. Good job!!

Loved the narration, I struggled a bit, largely due to being awful at platformers, but i liked the idea of gathering abilities through dying as a means of getting through purgatory. Very cool.

Really creepy narrative, I genuinely got uncomfortable a few times. The sound was really good. Good job!

I got stuck on the puzzle for ages before realising i’m an idiot. Very cute little game, loved the music changes for each level as the time of day shifted. Very jazzy near the end. Awesome work!

Charming, easy play, which honestly, I needed after some of the games I’ve played so far :) I like that you chose a light-hearted narrative over a heavy one, and the art is super cute.

I thought this was interesting but felt it was a shame there were no additional choices while living a life. Fun little sim, good job!

I feel this could have been a bit more cohesive, but the button that moved away from the cursor was evil, and could have been a whole game on its own :) Loved how you used it as a narrative device and implied pressing the button is killing someone. Really fun, creepy little game. (also, the monitor is nightmare fuel, it made me uncomfortable lol, good job!)

Really enjoyed this, nice simple card battler that sneakily convinced you to keep playing till the end. Very awesome work, loved the juice on the cards and the sounds were on point.

Cordycepts is an awesome idea for this theme! Exciting concept. I struggled a little with gameplay as I could only play the web version and had a job finding platforms, but it was creepy and interesting.

Thanks, we really appreciate the feedback, it means a lot :)

Thanks! There are things we would do differently with more time, but we’re pretty proud of this for the five days. :)

Really clever little puzzle platformer. I had some issues with the camera not following the player character, but from what I could play throug,h it’s a solid concept with really nifty mechanics for the puzzles. Awesome job!!

Impressive! Also hilarious. Sorry you got stuck! But I can’t lie and say I didn’t have a giggle :) We’ll defo have to fix that!

(1 edit)

I loved this idea. Really smart and unexpected. I couldn’t finish it as I got stuck on the one with the green and ed blocks over the spike pit, just couldn’t get the timing down, but this was such a cool and creative idea that was well implemented.

This started slowly, then went insane. I wasn’t sure on it when I was the slime, but once I died, things took a real turn. Sort of like if Vampire Survivor and an idle clicker had a baby.

Interesting take on the theme. Good job!

Awesomne little puzzle platformer with some really cool and fun mechanics. Awesome work!

Really cool little platformer that utilised really cool level design, which means you have to backtrack after unlocking abilities to progress. Very cool, even for me, who is terrible at platformers. :)

Well… for something that started with a kitty that took a dark turn, lol. Nice little game. Thanks for sharing!! :)
