Really enjoyed this little game. Took me a mo to discover i can resize the windows and that sneaking legendary cat took some time to find XD. Love this, it would be cool to have music ‘files’ you can find and add to a ‘media’ player and things change depending on what music you have playing and some cats only being found in the audio visualiser and stuff. Really cool!
I think the player colisions are a bit off, i often misjudged how close to the edges when facing up and positioning to jump and would accidentily hit the edges. I enjoyed the sneaky hem collection at the end too and ran around getting them all. Really cool concept, solid proof of concept. I was a little dissapointed the exhibitions didn’t have blurb text, could have been fun. Nice game, solid :)
Really cool visuals. I found the gameplay a little frustrating, the robots didn’t feel responsive enough and I ended up spending most of my time trying to get rid of corroded items. I think if the robots did the work autonamously, but slowly, so they will eventually get overwhelmed and the player is like an ‘extra’ hand to help offset the load it might feel better and feel more responsive as the player wouldn’t have to wait for the robots. Overall though, solid game, really well put together and I can see it very easily becoming bigger. Great work!!
I liked the concept a lot, though I did get stuck in the maze for ages and cursed the devs lol. I did finally rescue the kitten with five lives. I think some hints on where to go would be good. I assumed the ghosts were hints or the fireplaces, but ended up just walking around till I tripped over the ending. Very cute and solid music choices. I loved the mechanics of the land of the dead getting clearer as you lose lives. Really great work, you should be proud.
Loved the art style, the sounds, the font you chose, and the little animation on it. Yes, it was a simple game, but I think it’s got the bones of a bigger game. The questions were a bit standard, but given it was done in five days, I’d not expect an amazing narrative. I think if you develop a story around it it coud really grow into something. Really good work!!
I’m really sorry, I got stuck at the point of pressing the power button, the cursor changed to have an exclamation point, but nothing happened when I left or right-clicked, and I clicked other things, but couldn’t progress. I’m probably missing something obvious. A shame because I liked the art and music, and it seemed like I’d enjoy it. I loved the use of a floppy disk and was a little disappointed I couldn’t play it through. Good job :)
