The game was a bit laggy, but other than that, a really great experience!
Nice little game, and well integrated. It was fun seeing the town expand and the various NPCs waving by. The upgrades felt worth prioritizing, and felt rewarding to get.

really wholesome and cosy game, loved the textures and artwork. I did feel it would be good to have some sorta reward or acknowledgement for getting all villagers or maybe be cute if npcs interacted with each other or walk about. but obvs limited time and this was amazing for amount of time anyways ! congrats on submitting a beautiful and 3d game !
Cute and pretty ambitious to build in 3D in such a short amount of time. The values for getting resources felt a little slow initially and i feel like it would have been nice to have a little reward like a confetti blast or something at the end, but i thought it was neat and fairly ambitious for a jam.

Super cute game, loved it. For me, the animations for the bear gathering stuff were absolutely great. Minor suggestion would be to add some feedback as we're gathering stuff (e.g. the tree could start showing some signs that it's being cut and all that). Besides that, keep it up!
Glad I tried restarting my browser to play this. The framerate went from unplayable to buttery smooth. As others have said, it nailed cuteness and coziness. Not sure if there was supposed to be a message at the end, but I liked filling in the town and seeing all the characters. The attention to detail on the animations was very nice. I also liked that each investment gave a specific type of upgrade, and it was intuitive enough to figure out.

There was supposed to be a more definitive ending but the internet in our neighborhood went out 2 hours before the deadline, and we had to choose between figuring out the ending or rushing over a USB with the build and uploading it over two bars of LTE on a phone tether haha. I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Very nice little cozy game! Love how the characters wave at you. The SFX sometimes get out of time and have an interesting echo but overall well done.
i been playing cult of the lamb a lot lately so this made me think of that but wholesome! Really enjoyed the various animations you included for the different sorts of resource collecting, great job!

Very cute and cozy! It fits the theme very well. Controls are intuitive, graphics are good, but performance is not ideal. Very very satisfying sound effects here, especially the rock mining theme.
