How does the game fit the theme?
The main gameplay mechanic focuses on fast movement, which is linked to your health or 'energy' bar. Players are encouraged to get through the game as fast as possible, but must carefully balance speed vs their remaining health. Players can also regularly choose from multiple paths of varying safety, giving the player agency in deciding whether to prioritise one approach over the other.

First off, this game is ridiculously polished for a one week jam. Huge kudos to y'all for brewing this up in such a short time frame. The chunky textures on all the models, audio, rail slides mechanic, and responsiveness in the inputs are all *chefs kiss*.
The idea to tie your health to your abilities is very innovative and I feel fits the theme quite well. This is easily one of the better games I have played for this jam so far!
The lack of checkpoints is a little daunting, but hey it kept me playing for longer so maybe that was the goal? lol. I just had to make sure I got Muggy home, as a sentient cup of coffee myself I felt it was my duty.

Cool retro style, polished game. Unfortunately, I quickly got discouraged by the lack of checkpoints, because you have to carefully measure your jump on the first level.

In the spirit of the gamejam we have kept the checkpoints as is at time of completion, but will certainly improve them for the revision upload after the voting period ends. I had a lot of fun with this! The main mechanic of your health being tied to your super jump was fun to try and balance. Charging up just enough of a jump to get to the next platform but not too much so they'd run out of health was great! The rail grinding felt very rewarding after sections of some intense platforming. The art style was also very well done, everything meshed well together.
The lack of checkpoints was a little rough, I made it out of what I assumed was the first area (To the point where the skybox shifted) and was a little discouraged to go back to the beginning. I was pleasantly surprised how much content the game had, I got to the point where the shoe spawns in but couldn't figure out if there was a run button or how to avoid him.
Overall, really nice hob with this! I had a fun time with it and can see myself revisiting it after the jam to see it to the end. Thanks for submitting!
Thank you for playing the game and your feedback! I agree that some of the checkpoints should have been better implemented. With the shoe you need only to move in the opposite direction of the shoe (towards the screen) and avoid the pitfalls as you do so. I hope when you return to see it through you'll keep that in mind, you were so nearly at the end! I'm happy you had fun, I'll be sure to check your game out too! :)

Very cool style and a fun central mechanic, though I'm not gonna lie, the bounce pad at the end of the trail of ziplines really did not feel good considering the lack of checkpoints.
