I think this was all about the artwork for me - very nicely done too. The game play was a little glitchy in the browser for me so it didn't feel quite so relaxing, but the idea was there. Good work and good luck in the jam

I like the artistic style of this work so much, lovely kitten and grandmother! The mouse cursor is a kitten's paw, which is so cute! When I noticed that there were corresponding cartoons of grandma and kitten on the far left, I laughed and deliberately put my hand under grandma's field of vision  (sorry kitten!

It's a little game that makes people feel relaxed and happy, but when I control the kitten's paws, I find that the kitten's paws are shaking, which makes it difficult to control, but on the whole, I like this game very much!!!^w^

Here I am

Great game and the art style is kool

Lovely art and music help to create a really chill atmosphere. I enjoyed your game a lot, thank you!

The process was quite relaxing until the moment when dear granny put razor blades on her counter. Not so kind from you, granny, not kind at all, ha-ha.

PS: I had some visual issues. The cat’s hand was trembling, and the canvas was too small when I expanded it to full screen:

Yeah sadly we didn't test this thoroughly enough and didn't set the correct properties in the engine 😿😿

All the more reason to update the game though =D

Oh, it took me a while to realize I had to scroll down to be able to see and control the cat's arm. But super cool and unique concept! And of course, the art <3!! The dancing granny background was the absolut best!

Others already said it, but the art is so good! Well done :D

The mouse was jittering a bit for me, though this might be an issue on my PC as I've had trouble with other browser games on itch. I guessing you are using Godot(?), so maybe you'd want to set the 'mode mode' to 'confined'. I think that would help with not accidentally clicking outside the game area.

The audio of the cat could have more variations - it becomes a little repetitive after a few times.

Overall, great work!

This was so cute! The art style is so good and I felt so bad when I didn't realize the razor blades would cut the cat :( Almost beat it with all 9 lives but alas, poor kitty.

I LOVED the art style and the concept. So cute. I really think I would have been able to play it longer if the razor blades weren't in it, plus the sound effect. I don't think the hurt sound matches with this style and I had to stop playing because I didn't want to hurt the cat anymore. :( I loved the puzzle game play and it was super creative!

Obviously the drawings are incredible; you're a very talented artist!

This is a super fun game. I would recommend giving some indication that you can't touch the blades (perhaps another red dotted box?) because I thought they were just part of the scenery

A full screen option would be great for this, too :)

Nice game! I appreciate the art  and the concept , the controls is a bit of a challenge though, but I was able to play this . Keep it up!

Awesome art and level design!

The art for this game is amazing. I was having trouble getting the controls to work right sometimes.

I love the freakishly long arm the cat has :) The grandma moving on the left is very cute too.

It would be nice if the cursor didn't lose the arm because i kept moving too fast and my arm would get stuck.I'm not sure if its my high sensitivity on my mouse though.

Wow this game is great! Rated high in all categories! Love the art and the gameplay is very good!
I had some problems with the arm not reacting correctly to the mouse, however I think its just because of the browser.

Would appreciate it if you wanted to give my game a try also :)

SO CUTE

Awesome artworks and audio! Razor blades are scary.😬

Great idea and art style remionds me of some childrens books I grew up with!
I would change the browser size to be a bit smaller for a better mouse control since sometimes I needed to scroll up or down.

Well done!

Thank you for playing! we definitely took inspiration from some books for the art style 😬

Cool. Good idea, cool art, nice sounds

The only downside is that the game opens in a window, sometimes the mouse goes beyond the game window and takes you out of control

I really liked it

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing =D The controls definitely need some refinement 😅

The hand is a little buggy, hard to control. But I really love the visuals! I like your idea on the theme.

Developer

Thanks!
Yeah the hand works better when you have hardware acceleration enabled in the browser, or if you download the game 😅

Neat little game. I really enjoyed the music and the visuals. I think the web version is messing with some code because the paw was very jittery, often unresponsive. probably my mouse is a bit too sensible and the paw often lost track of it.

All in all I really liked the charm! Congrats on the submission :)

Developer(+1)

Thanks! yeah we had a hard time figuring out how to get better controls on web, but enabling graphics acceleration should make it at least playable 😅
