Back to Eden – A Living Myth of Planetary Restoration

Welcome, soul-crafters, artists, coders, and healers.

Back to Eden is more than a game. It is a living myth, a planetary restoration odyssey, and a canvas for mankinds regenerative potential. Here, every act is a step toward reawakening the world to Edenic virtues, where life is sacred, health is real, and the mankinds spirit is aligned with the planet.

Our Vision

The world cries for healing. From deforestation to poisoned air, water contamination, and industrial overreach mankind has strayed far from balance. In Back to Eden, players do what the world truly needs:

  • Restore forests, rivers, wetlands, and wildlife 🌳💧🦋

  • Purify soil, water, and air 🌿✨

  • Stop destructive mining practices—no rare earths in Eden! ⛏️🚫

  • End chemical-intensive agriculture in favour of regenerative, life-affirming methods 🌾💚

  • Demobilize armies and neutralize WMDs through peaceful, restorative action ⚖️

  • Disconnect harmful EMFs and RF tech; communicate telepathically 🌌🕊️

  • Heal life with frequencies, light, and energy-based interventions

  • Real-world inspired quests that echo in-game

Justice Without Killing

For players seeking action or accountability:

  • Ecocide & Crimes Against the Planet – “baddies” include polluters, illegal loggers, destructive corporations, and harmful tech operators.

  • Seek, Investigate, Arrest – gather evidence, track perpetrators, and intervene using creative, non-violent mechanics.

  • Restorative Punishments – exile or rehabilitative assignments (e.g., a “Mars colony” program) to restore awareness and repair harm.

  • Root-Cause Solutions – repair the systems behind the damage: restore lands, clean rivers, reverse chemical effects.

  • Optional action layer allows players who desire stakes to engage, while others focus purely on restorative creation.

Gameplay Mechanics: Stage by Stage

  1. Awakening the Land – clear rubbish , remove invasive species, plant wildflowers, revive rivers, restore our planet

  2. Air & Sky Healing – grow vertical forests, cleanse skies, restore oxygen-rich zones.

  3. Water & Soil Revival – purify streams, restore wetlands, heal aquatic life.

  4. Human & Community Echoes – optional real-world quests: planting, writing notes of hope, teaching regenerative practices.

  5. Edenic Flourish – restored ecosystems, returning animals, songs of life echoing across landscapes.

  6. Planetary  Restoration Layer – dismantle extractive tech, reverse industrial harm, and introduce healing frequencies.

  7. Life & Health Mechanics – non-invasive tech for serious illnesses, minimal pharmaceuticals, energy-based healing.

We’re building a living myth — not just a game.

Back to Eden is a nature-positive, non-extractive adventure where your care for the world is mirrored in-game. It’s gentle, story-rich, and blends on-screen play with optional real-world care quests.

No loot boxes. No grind-for-grind. No dark patterns. Just planting, listening, singing, and bringing life back to a sleeping world.

What We’re Making First

A tiny 2-week vertical slice prototype to prove the feel:

  • One glade + one river bend that transform through acts of care.
  • Listen to hidden voices, plant wildflowers, restore water, hear the song of life return.
  • Optional off-screen quests that echo in-game (e.g., water a plant, write a note of hope).

Looking For

  • Unity or Godot Developer – 2D/2.5D, prototyping experience, collaborative spirit.
  • Watercolor/Nature Artist – Hand-painted style, gentle glow, nature-rich worlds.
  • Acoustic/Ambient Composer – Natural textures (wood, clay, breath), dynamic music that grows with the world.

Hey! I'm not sure if you already have a watercolor artist or not but I'd be interested in that position! I love doing nature themed artwork so anything with "nature" is always exciting to me. I would be able to work on the pieces pretty much every night as long as I know the scope and what I should be creating (roughly). Let me know if you're interest :)
