Got 360 on my first attempt! Could have gone further, but you know, end of the cave bug lol.
I think there might be some situations where the gap is too far for you to move into it before crashing, but I haven't played enough to 100% confirm that theory.

Good clean fun! Great music, but the graphics fall a bit short (in particular, the blue text doesn’t read well against the brown background).

Simple and fun game! The controls are nice and smooth, more enjoyable than the classic Flappy Bird style to me. Could maybe have more textures on the landscape or background to add interest - but overall nice job :)
Alright, this is pretty much a flappy bird variant (which itself was done prior to that, as you state yourself on that helicopter game). Not necessarily original, but building on a proven concept is totally fine.
What I dislike is that there is not much building upon the concept happening, as there is nothing but evading floor and ceiling, so the game didn't really hook me up for very long.
Music and sound work well with the overall feel of them game.
I encountered a game breaking bug multiple times, where the floor would just go up to the top of the world, forcing failure (check screenshot). Happened on different distances, so not linked to that.

I absolutely agree about the lack of variety, although to be perfectly honest that's sort of what I was going for. At some point I did have one or two other "obstacles" that could generate between the "caves" and would eventually spawn with them as well to add variety, but I simply couldn't fit them in my development time.
That game breaking bug unfortunately took a lot of time away as well. I spent much of the last few hours before submission trying to find what was causing it. Pico8 unfortunately doesn't have much going for it when it comes to debugging, so I was working with what I had, and regretably I fell short. Funny enough, this bug took away the time I would spend on making the level generation a little crazier as the levels progressed.

The gameplay feels really good, and the music is fantastic! I especially like how holding the button gives it “weight” and creates more tensions as the bird is barely missing the ground.
Holding the button instead of the usual flappy bird like game was an intersting spin and gives enough uniqueness to the game. The sawtooth in the music wasn’t my favorite but the other parts were catchy enough to be hummed why you try to fly through the cave. One of my playthroughs ran into a fully walled of section, not sure if that is a know issue. Bird cute, game fun, 224!
Hi, the music is great and makes you want to continue to discover the variations. The bird animation is cool too, but as you put it on the Itchio page, it lacks variety and ideas in the gameplay.
