I felt bad that there is no average score, because some teams aimed for all categories, not just one. So I just scrapped the results page and made a table. I agree with Mark that "Overall" is questionable, but I still think "Average" is a valuable score, so I decided to share it.
A really cool story-focused game with a really good atmosphere and general vibe! It was really fun to watch the story unfold, and it always kept me on my toes thinking, "what's gonna happen next?" The environment and game you created is so detailed it's honestly insane you were able to make it in just 4 days! Great submission, scariest one I've played so far!
Wow really really good definitely the scariest game I have played yet in this jam like I am the camera security officer for SCP.
The atmosphere is crazy good!
I haven't played many spooky games before so I don't know if this is common. But that fact that you can only move you view slowly really make you want to check behind you all the time, feeding back to the environment (no pun intended).
I love the atmosphere! It was very spooky and the narrative is really interesting, this reminds me a lot of "Please Don't Touch Anything"
Amazing terrifying thing, almost alt+f4ed at times
Absolutley incredible, I was playing with goosebumps throughout, the front entrance camera will forever haunt me (my own fault for playing at 1am...!) Seriously amazing vibes and graphics, brilliant work!
You really did that in only four days!?! Crazy work, well done!
This game is a banger!
Amazing art :D also really quite a fun game.
i felt so powerless wihtout anything to do once the guy dissapeared...
great job!
I shat myself because I didn't read the "horror" tag...
The jumpscare was too unexpected for me and after a couple more collider activations I didn't feel safe playing it anymore, not an horror fan sorry.
On the other hand from what I saw up until that point, the graphics and storytelling is perfect, I could see streamers buying it and playing with a full release.
Haha I'm sorry to hear that. Although I didn't have enough time to implement more scares aside from art, so you actually could have finished it safely
Don't worry about that, you gave a lot of warnings that I missed because I'm dumb ahah. I replayed it and finished it this time, and it kept the high quality it had before up until the very end. The finale feels a bit fast, but I guess the jam time limit got you ahah. Anyways good game man
Security job plus a dell computer, me no likey.
Super cool atmosphere and very good on tension build up. The end was a bit abrupt; but this was amazing nonetheless. Including CERN into this theme was a good idea as well. Consider turning it into a fully fleshed game, it was amazing <3
Wow! This one was amazing! Probably the best one I've played in this jam! It's oozing atmosphere and style, I can definitely see myself playing a full release of this. Amazing what you pulled off in just 4 days :)
Wait did you pull the name of current windows user? That freaked me out a little. The atmosphere is so heavy you can cut it with a knife.
This might be the best game in the jam so far, damn.
I did, I wanted to make the game feel very personally on the player, and make them feel rather helpless. I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Jumpscare fucked me up, very spooky, just wish there was more to the end. It felt like something was creeping up on me, but it never occured (obviously there was little time to make this tho). Would love to see the version where things get even creepier and closer to where I am, locked in a desk-chair. great game!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it. It was planned to be about 3x longer, and would have had a scare in the room, and multiple endings, but I lost some work on the last day and had to rush to add an ending. I'll probably update it sometime in the next week after the jam is complete with a version that is complete to the vision I had in mind.
This one is criminally underrated! You nailed the atmosphere! Might be the first time a game from a jam actually scared me lol
Thanks! It was my first time making something horror related, so I'm glad it was frightening, as the line between horror and comedy is surprisingly thin haha.
Loved the idea with computer working, good vibe. Looks interesting. Soundtrack is great, the only thing - alarm sound was too loud and I've searched for where to press the button to turn it off for 30-ish second, almost died there lol
Thanks for letting me know, and I'm glad you enjoyed it! I wanted to make most interactions diegetic, but I probably could have made some required interactions more obvious.
