Okay, this ones pretty great. I like the basic snake premise with the extra twists you put on, and the level of polish you gave this in terms of ui and art is amazing. Well done.

The music has to be my favorite part about this game.   It was really well done!

Great job! I really liked the art and it was nice to play something with only your mouse. There were times when a rune was spamming on and off xd. Also felt weird in this kind of game to be able to stop completely.

are the characters in the intro ocs of some sort they looks so cool omg

Developer

They were created during the jam ! And its representations of Hel and Loki ! (Also Fenrir appear after on the tutorial screen) !

Submitted(+1)

oh thats impressive!! they were so well designed i just made the assumption that they couldnt have been entirely put together during the jam lol

Developer

Thx for the compliment !! <3

Really fun.  A cool twist on the classic snake game plus the art and music is fantastic. Great job!

Developer

Excellent game! Of all the eat your tail games i think this might be the most creative one, and also must fun to play. It has a puzzle feel to it, "what are the closest runes i can get to with this size" without feeling too difficult, and also has a real time element, without being too punishing. im glad you dont lose by hitting the walls. i can definetly see this being a full fledged game if you want, there are avenues you can explore with different obstacles (some may move or teleport etc) and you can also expand the puzzle (ordered runes, or runes that change the layout, etc)
it would also work well in phones.
For an easier mode i could also suggest it only moving when you click for example.
great job, great game

Very fun and the artwork was very cute!

Love the art and the ambience for it. Got stuck on the part where you need 6 to progress, but other than that, it's pretty straightforward and nice interpretation on the theme!

Cool game, I was confused at first but quickly figured it out. Great art as well, kudos to the artist!

Took me a second to figure out what to do, but then it was fun, great job! be on the target number of runes THEN eat your tail

Merci beaucoup !!

I had a huge fixation on Norse mythology in high school, particularly wrt Loki and their children, so this speaks to me on a pretty deep level, especially the framing of Loki's family as something more than "end game ragnarok threats" which most media and adaptation seems to overly focus on.

very thankful of you for this feedback ! Its nice to read this, i personnaly wanted to represent them first as a familly (a weird familly perhaps !). This hasn't got in the jam version but we will add Powers from each familly member that Jörgmungand can use in his quest one time after needding to recharge them by some way (didn't decide quite how yet). I wanted to represent this through gameplay !

Developer(+1)

Thank you !! Had the same hyperfixation some years ago and was very happy to have been able to rediscover it through this Jam ! It meant a lot to us artists that Loki and their children got to be painted that way ^^ very glad you liked it

Impressive feat of teamwork. I couldn't figure out how to hold 6 runes and had to stop there, but it was quite enjoyable and pretty game.

The art and music were AMAZING. Its slightly buggy but those can probably be fixed probably quickly. The game is simple but i could get entertained with it really easily

Developer
