I liked the art a lot.

Developer (1 edit)

Thank you so much! :) We are glad to hear that!

Veryyyy clever puzzles. I'm also really impressed with the way you taught the game. The mechanics were introduced really well and that's something that stands out in games of a jam-length. Art is cute and sounds is great. You both should be proud!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy to hear that the puzzles and the way we introduced the mechanics stood out to you.

Also great to hear you enjoyed the art and sound! We truly appreciate your kind words :)

This is an extremely clever puzzle concept!  I was hooked initially by your graphics but the depth you can get out of an initially simple mechanic is really, really cool.   Very impressive for a game jam, one of my top games from the jam for sure.  Nicely done!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Super happy to hear the concept and visuals pulled you in.
We had a lot of fun exploring how much we could do with the core mechanic, so it’s great to hear it worked for you.
Being among your top games really means a lot!

well i can't rate your game based on it's gameplay since it doesn't seem to load for me(browser and install, just freezes two seconds in)
but art wise this looks very good, the colors the animation and mix of 2d and 3d are really really cute!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the art, even though the game itself didn't load properly for you.

Sorry to hear it froze. We'd really appreciate it if you could help us reproduce the bug.
May we ask what browser and operating system you're using? :)

Super nice graphics, there is a narrative that the hamster needs to go down. Well-developed system of moves through the cycle. My one of the best games on this jam.

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the visuals and the movement system.
We also love that you picked up on the little narrative element with the hamster going deeper.
Hearing that it's one of your favorites in the jam really means a lot to us :)

Submitted(+1)

Visually, the game is stunning. The puzzles quickly gain real depth and complexity once multiple traps come into play.

Easily one of the best puzzle games — and one of the best games overall of this jam!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really flattered, and we're super happy you enjoyed both the look and the puzzle depth.
It's such a great compliment to hear that you consider our game one of the best in this jam. That really means a lot to us, especially since we also think your puzzle game is one of the best in the jam :)

Submitted(+1)

Really enjoyed it! The hamster is very cute! And the puzzles are very thought out! Awesome game loop!

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed it :)
Glad you liked the puzzles and our little hamster!

Love the concept and the artwork! The attack pattern gives me Ring of Pain vibes—moving around and waiting for those safe moments to attack. Designing the attack patterns myself really adds a lot of depth to the game. It was tough for me at the start, but I had a lot of fun after I understood the machnics.

Developer

Thank you so much! We're really happy you enjoyed the concept and the artwork :)
We actually didn’t know Ring of Pain, but now we're curious to check it out.
Also great to hear that the mechanics clicked for you after a bit. Letting players design the attack pattern was one of our favorite parts to work on, so it really means a lot to hear it added depth for you!

verry fun i like the puzzles where i needed to make the level myself but i got softlocked after holding the z key for to long and went out of bounds love the cute artstyle

Developer

Thanks a lot! So happy you liked the puzzles and the cute art :)

And that definitely sounds like a bug :o
Could you help us reproduce the issue so we can fix it in a potential post-jam update?

Just to clarify — do you mean the Z key on the keyboard? At the moment, it doesn't have any function in the game, so we’re a bit confused.

Submitted (1 edit)

sorry i got confused i meant when walking forward whilst holding the walk right key (i used azerty)

Developer

That makes sense, thanks for clarifying. :)
The issue you're describing is actually a bug that several people experienced during the jam. We tested the game with a few people we know, but only one of them ran into the same problem.

It is a bit tricky to pin down, as it seems somewhat random who’s affected and who’s not.
Either way, we’re really sorry you had to run into it.

If you notice anything else that could help us track it down more reliably, feel free to let us know!
And we're really happy you still enjoyed the game despite the bug :)

I love the creative puzzles in this game

as Hamster lover, I have to give you 5 for artwork and gameplay it fun too, nice game.

If possible, can you please rate my game and leave a comment too.

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! That means a lot, especially coming from a fellow hamster lover!
We're really happy you enjoyed the artwork and the gameplay :)

We’ll be happy to check out your game when we get the chance. It looks really cool!

I personally loved this game!! I spent a while trying to beat the levels but I sucked at it. I do wish you had a better tutorial at the start for people who are slow like me. It took me a while to figure out the mechanics. I loved every aspect of this game.

Developer

Thank you so much! Really great to hear you enjoyed it, even if the levels were a bit tough.
And we hear you on the tutorial, that's definitely something we'd love to improve :)
One idea we had was to fade in the tutorial arrows one by one instead of showing all of them at once.
Unfortunately, we just didn’t manage to implement that in the short time we had.

We really appreciate you sticking with it and sharing your thoughts.
If we do a post-jam update, we’ll definitely think more about how to improve the tutorial experience and smooth out the difficulty curve a bit :)

Submitted(+1)

Very interesting and fun mechanics! The art is super cute and the SFX fit really well. Great work!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thanks a lot! Glad you had fun with the mechanics, and awesome to hear you liked the art and SFX! :)

Submitted(+1)

Everything is so cute, I love the art!! The gameplay mechanics were really interesting, I liked figuring out how to customize the timings for the spikes! I wish the spikes were labeled  since clicking through them was a bit tedious, but awesome job regardless!!

Developer

Thanks a lot! Really happy you enjoyed the art and mechanics.
And you're right, it can sometimes be hard to tell which trap is connected to which row in the UI.
We’d love to improve that, and we’ll definitely keep your feedback in mind if we decide to do a post-jam update. :)

Submitted(+1)

Very impressive game! The art style is amazing, and the combination of 2D illustration in a 3D environment feels really fresh. The mechanism is creative and well thought out. I like that it feels like there’s more than one solution to the puzzle. Great job!

Developer

Thanks so much! We're super happy you liked the art style and the 2D/3D mix. it was fun to put together.
Awesome to hear you enjoyed the core mechanic too! :)

Oh my gosh, I absolutely love the art style - it's so cute and charming! Also, the "run in wheel" button to start the game was such a small but clever touch. Little details like that really elevate the overall experience.

The soundtrack is lovely and fits the vibe of the game perfectly. I also really appreciated how the tutorial was seamlessly built into the first few levels.

A couple very minor things:

- The initial trap difficulty felt like a bit of a jump. It would be nice to have more opportunities to “soft fail” and learn the mechanic before having to restart the level.

- The HUD felt a little oddly scaled. I found myself wishing the UI and gameplay elements were more centered rather than pushed to the top left and bottom right.

- There were a few moments when the music finished but didn’t loop, which left things feeling a little too quiet.

Overall though, this was such a delightful little experience and I am very impressed with your level of polish, especially as a 2 person team. Amazing work!

Developer (1 edit) (+1)

Thank you so much for this lovely and thoughtful feedback!
We're really happy you enjoyed the art style and all the little details :)

For the soundtrack, we used music by Komiku and Zane Little, if you liked it, they’re definitely worth checking out!

Regarding your feedback:
– Thanks for pointing out the early difficulty spike. We'll definitely consider adjusting that if we do a post-jam update.
– The UI scaling issue is actually a known bug. We initially set everything up for 1280×720, assuming that Itch.io would keep the resolution consistent. However, on 4K monitors, Itch.io seems to double the resolution, which causes the UI to shrink. It's high on our list for a potential fix. Sorry you probably had to deal with that! (We’re also not quite sure what happens on 1440p monitors yet.)
– And we really appreciate you mentioning the music loop issue. That’s something we’ll definitely look into.

Thanks again for taking the time to write such detailed feedback. It really means a lot to us :)

I'm glad you found it helpful! I followed your team and would love to see future projects you put together. :)

I really love the art style of this game. It's so cute!! The sound is also very relaxing, and  the mechanics are abosolutely amazing!

Developer

Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed the art and concept.
The music is by "Komiku" and "Zane Little". They are definitely worth checking out if you liked the vibe!

Submitted(+1)

Wow, this game is impressive! It really makes you think about every move, and the art is amazing. Can’t believe you pulled this off in just four days, that’s insane!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! We're super happy to hear that.

Honestly, we're just as surprised as you are that it all came together in time.
Lots of caffeine, a very determined hamster, and close to zero sleep definitely helped!

Submitted(+1)

The polish is fabulous! Everything from the art to the gameplay is so well made, I can’t believe you managed to make this in 4 days! The only problem I had was that the movements were a bit hard to understand, so maybe some more cues and indications may help? Overall spectacular though!

Developer

Thank you so much! We had very little sleep during those days, so honestly… we’re not sure how we managed to finish it either :'D

Totally fair point about the movement! You’re not alone there. Other comments also mentioned similar problems, so if we ever recover enough brain cells for a post-jam update, we’ll definitely look into improving that :)

Submitted(+1)

omzogeozkgpzeogkgezgz the hamster is so cute I want to eat them! The game is really polished and the puzzles well designed. I especially liked the way you handled the tutorial

Developer

Thank you! We're so glad you had fun!
The hamster is probably flattered… and just a little terrified :'D
Great to hear you liked the tutorial and puzzle design! :)
