How does your game fit the theme?
The Game plays with the concept of flying in a loop. Even though it's an Autoscroller, you will return to the beginning of the level. The puzzle elements are designed around this.

I need to stop playing Flappy Bird clones. I can't tell you how long I was avoiding the pillars wondering when something new would happen. Once I cracked it this was a really fun one. The controls were nice and responsive and the challenge was, admittedly, a little hard but I think it ramped up at a good enough pace not to feel harsh and just feel challenging. A nice backing track could have have gone a long way and I found a cheeky bug that you can avoid things by going off screen - but then it's not much use when you need to hit things that are on the screen. I really like the added detail you have of being able to see what's coming up on the conveyour belt below. It was a light touch that made a huge difference. You clearly know your stuff. Nice work!

Thanks, that really means a lot.

make fun to play, the last lvl was a bit tricky but also nice to figure out. i dont know if its intendent but if you go all the way to the front, the fire dont hit you anymore.

Developer

It's not intended but I'm glad it's possible because the last level wouldn't be possible otherwise. I was really in a rush when putting it together.

It was fun. But it was also quite doable. Nice style and a cool idea with the rotating level.

really trippy but fun! i like how the game keeps going even when you die, makes the flow feel so good.

I don't know if it's just me but the game keep getting stuck, like most of the times I can move with only W and S and the background pillars wont move

Developer

Thank you, for your feedback.
If that happens, press space to start the level.

Nice game, I like that I can see the background to understand what is coming. I think that could have been expanded on, maybe some things that effect only the background and I use it to create shields for myself at the right moment? Not sure what exactly but the potential is there. I did find the way the back moved a little confusing at first, but I got used it quickly. The sounds was a bit harsh... and I lost my character on the screen a few times. Still - a good entry. A good idea, and a worth execution!

The game concept is super creative, loved it! It's also really nice that you diversified the gameplay with pillars, switches, and coins! However, I think the difficulty curve was a bit to steep for me, and the game became quickly overwhelming. But I understand that in the context of a game jam, you couldn't do much levels. Also super sad of the absence of music, but SD is great! Well done!

satisfying loop & the autoscrolling looks fantastic, love the 2d/3d effect - reminds me of castlevania sotn!

Loved it! It's nice to see what will come next in the background. Also I liked that dying would not stop the play

Thank you everybody for the heartwarming feedback, it really means a lot.
I know the last level may seem impossible and like a softlock, but it isn't. You have to literally think outside of the box to solve it.

For everyone having trouble with the Levels not starting: You END and START every level by pressing space. You're given some time to assess the situation and position yourself. In the future info cards will appear at the start of the level to introduce new elements, that's why the game waits for you to confirm.

For anyone in the future having trouble, pressing space starts the game and makes the wheel start spinning. Once that happens, you can use A/D to move.

Nice :)

i kinda got stuck as well, but very nice

Cute art! Let us know if there's a way to fix the A/D bug without you needing to rebuild

I like the pixel art-style :D but unfortunately A/D is not working for me :(
