Thank you for this service!
I can’t help but wonder if there’s a mathematically viable way to account for the number of ratings given to each game. I bet there’s a smart game dev out there with the knowledge required to answer this question
Wow. I know the real story so making the decision was easy, but I absolutely loved the way it was presented. I feel like just this concept alone can go sooooo far. I think this is such a cute gem, and one of those beautiful little things that will only be created in a game jam. Genuinely such a creative way to think of this theme. Well done.
I was never good at snake and when you add a time limit to it I get even worse!
I had fun, gave it a few tries and reached a high score of like 20 something seconds... Probably not the best gamer at this.
My biggest issue was the seemingly random level layout that a few times got me failing right as I was starting a new run. Still, good job on the game!
Wow! A damn cool game. The artsyle works so well with the way your game is structure and your interpetation of the theme. I also love puzzle games so I massively enjoyed this one. My one issue was that when I started over a level I always had to re-read the text accompnying it... and that there was no story ending :(
I know time constraints are crazy during a jam, just wish I knew more about what he stole, why, who was he, etc.
Really enjoyed it!
WOW!
An incredible take on the theme. Movement and combat feels smooth af. Love the Hotlime Miami meets Katan Zero vibe. I wish there were like, 40 more levels? Not that I am disappointed, just that I'm addicted.
Visuals are awesome. Text is eerie in the best way. I timed myself 8 seconds to write this comment so I gotta get going.
#GODDAMN #HOW_DID_YOU_MAKE_THIS_IN_4_DAYS
Very sweet game. Obviously a lot of thought and effort when into it. I'm a sucker for card games so despite it being simple I ended up playing for over 20 minutes I think?
It starts off a little slow. Early levels are not really balanced and it's almost impossible to lose - but it gets progressively more interesting. There was actually a lot of quality of life features which is so unlikely for a jam game. All the stats while fighting, etc.
NICELY DONE!
Hi hi!
Thank you so much for playing the game, I'm glad it was somewhat enjoyable. It's definitely possible that I screwed up with the stars in some levels. I know for a fact that a few levels are pretty much 3 stars guaranteed regardless of results... It was a game jam and time was pressing, I really did a poor job balancing that out. I'm really sorry if it was frustrating! We might go back and change that, will let you know if that happens
Audio was great! Loved it, got me in the swinging mood! I had fun crushing those darn robots, but I wish there was more enemies of different kinds? Also rolling was a bit too hectic to use, I prefered just walking around, most of the time it was the most effective method.
The rings effect did not really change my playstyle all that much, so I would suggest maybe making them do crazier things and drop less often?
I had fun! Great job
The art and the audio were great. I loved the visual presentation of the game. I had some issues with the gameplay, randomly clicking doors and also moving between zoomed in camera to zoomed out was not the smoothest experience. Still, the vibe of it and the general presnetation of the game were very well crafted. Great job!
Awesome level design, really uinque idea that has lots of room to expand on. I can easily see this is a full on platformer with multiple puzzles and levels and a speedrun community. Maybe the blood drinking can be added as a mechanic or something? Either way, so many well designed levels in such a short time is basically a miracle!
The game was very hard for me, but I loved the concept. Visually, it's great. I wish there was a better tutorial to sort of ease my way into it because I feel like this has the potential to be something really great. It's not only a special take on the loop, but it's a whole world with logic and lore to it that you've built in no time. It feels complete, like there's so much more to learn about it and for you guys to tell us about it.
Very interesting concept! I feel like this could have gone a bit farther. Instead of losing HP maybe the circle gets smaller each time and I can use other things to upgrade it? Bigger bullets will hit enemies easier but also me? It also took me some time to find where the shards were, so maybe a mini-map or something similar could be great here. The first five times I just died with zero shards.
Awesome take on the loop theme, enjoyable and fun. I feel like this mechanic has huge potential!
