How does your game fit the theme?
The first idea that came to mind was from old shmup and arcade games where you can exit one side of the screen and appear on the other. That simple trick makes the stage feel like a loop, like the world is round. I started by imagining an arcade-style shooting game where you have to dodge your own looping bullets. Somehow at one moment, it shifted into a turn-based survival concept, where the goal was to survive as many turns as possible. Then I realized it worked even better as a level-based puzzle game, one where you solve challenges by exploiting the looping structure of the map and the predictable behavior of enemies.

Nice work! Cool use of the theme!
i like the mix of strategy and puzzle of the game. my only feedback is that i was a bit confused with the bomb mechanic at first (the one that moves with the player) since it seemed like it was a friendly entity so it took me a while on the level with 2 of them that i needed to destroy both AND get rid of the other enemy ship. fun game!
Cool game that requires you to think through your moves multiple turns in advance. The puzzles can get surprisingly complex! Very nice matrix animation in the background as well. Good job on the game!
I played this on stream (video here) if you’re interested in watching a playthrough of your game.
Thank you so much for playing this on stream! It means a lot to me!
The idea is clever and the game is very intuitive from the get go. Simple rules, complex solutions for the puzzles. I basically liked everything about this game, even the sound fits well with the aestetics.
Minor criticism: "R" to me feels more intuitive for the restart button, and I also would've put a "restart" textbutton when you lose, I ended up on the level selection section many times just because I wanted to restart (and then i remembered about "X").
You could really expand this, good job!
Thank you so much! I do plan to update it with some more polished levels later. For the restart thing, I totally agree with you that R would make more sense; it's just that I used PICO-8 to develop this game, and this game editor only supports limited keys, and R is not one of them. (It also has other limitations as well, like the resolution is set to be 128x128, but these limitations are actually very inspiring, you know, design is constraint~)
Awesome game!!! Very fun levels that make a good use of the looping off the edge mechanic! Would love a tutorial perhaps, but also if its intended that players just work it out then that's also fun! The visuals and audio work well together and fit the theming of the game! Really great work!
Thank you so much! I also would love to have enough time to add a tutorial haha
Love Pico-8 games! they are a dime in a dozen.
Thank you so much! I just began to learn Pico-8 a while ago; it's so much fun making games with it!
Matrix Loop is an incredibly clever take on the "loop" theme, turning a microcircuit into a battlefield of logic and precision. The simultaneous turn-based mechanics add a great layer of challenge, forcing you to think several steps ahead like a true puzzle tactician. The reverser mechanic is especially smart — it opens up creative strategies that feel really rewarding when they work. The clean visuals and tight ruleset make each level feel fair, yet mentally stimulating. Great polish for a jam game — well done!
Clever Design!
Clever stuff.
Thank you for playing my game!
nice game!
Thank you for playing my game!
This is such a cleaver and creative puzzle!
I love small, limited-step brain teasers so much. Got stumped on a few, but that's part of the fun. Awesome stuff.
Thank you for playing my game!
The puzzle is so much fun, really got me into flow. The art is also cute~looking foward to seeing more levels!
The puzzle design is very smart! I spent some time to get the mech( it's on page and LMB is left mouse button haaha). Once I get the grid, it's fun to think and play. Great work for creating such a polished one during a game jam!!!
Great puzzle design!
Thank you for playing my game! I didn't get time to test and iterate the levels, but I will update it after the jam~
Love the Art!

Very interesting!
The puzzles were well-designed, and the game is a great way to pass the time!
The puzzles were perfect. The progression was perfect. The mechanics were awesome. You're the first 5/5 on Enjoyment in my ratings!! Great job!
Thank you so much for your kind words! I am so flattered! This is my first time as a solo developer on a jam; your words really give me a lot of confidence!
The puzzles were enjoyable!
