Thanks for playing!

"Too study". LOL

The game over screen got me good 😂

Fun, funny, and looks great. Couldn't help but think of Steve Reich when all the blips and bloops were phasing in and out. Just wild. Economy go brrrrrr.

I didn't get very far but this is a neat game. Thing is scary.. is this a reference to John Carpenter's "The Thing"? The snake movement is quite good.

That makes me so happy to hear you enjoyed the game! Will definitely be improving the art. I wish we had more ratings too but there are so many entrants it's crazy!

I'll have a look at your game when I get the chance :3

Yep, the repeat is happening for me too but the banner image for the game shows puzzles that are a lot bigger. Really cool concept. Would love to play more levels!

Got a crash, I think while trying to open the shop while moving and/or shooting.
Cool game. Love the simple controls and the old arcade atmosphere.

Thanks so much again! And thanks for the screenshot! Btw, I got 28480. You kinda have to get lucky with the bonus room. Lol. 50,000 is now possible in our current build but we're continuing Dev so things are in flux.

Edit: you never know, maybe it has been done. Some crazy hidden gem from the past. And I recognize elements from older games. I love game history.

Oh, I just meant I shared his view. I think it's really neat, it's in my highlight collection for this Jam!

Thanks for playing, it really means a lot!

I'm with campak. Pleasantly confusing.

I personally like my controls but I get how people might feel about it. Edit: I'm thinking we'll just have 2 control schemes 🤷🏽‍♂️. They'll feel different but behave the same way.
We're still thinking the design through and tuning the timing.
The slow down is due to a mistake in that the wind's trigger area is too big. What you're experiencing is running into said trigger area, likely from the next spawned room! Sorry about that. >_<

The Red timer is you approaching death. The timer has 3 or 4 loops? I forget. We might add the ol' "hearts = life" visual to it. Each subsequent loop of the timer gets faster. The intent was to induce a kind of panic.

Thank you for your feedback, and thank you so much for playing our game!

Lap 25, 400 and something? Feel like I can do way better. lol. Anyway, the feel of this is amazing. Beautiful lighting and materials.

For example, the notes in a phrase move up, but the required button combo changes/contradicts the sounded phrase. I guess this usually doesn't feel like an issue in other rhythm games because you see the buttons approaching along a track. Maybe I just need more time to get used to it.

That's fair. I guess the concept wouldn't work with a single twist either. Maybe just the overall length could've been shorter, the map is huge!

Seems to work in Microsoft Edge and not Firefox. Seem to be constantly jumping in Firefox as well, it's odd.

Smallest tutorial ever. For some reason it took a second for me to realize that the red square was the target and latest iteration and when I did I was like "ohhhhh". Would love to see this further developed. I would be curious to see what the run at the end looks like if the player had other movement verbs, maybe a dash/boost. Really cool entry!

Edit: The vibe of the music works too, I actually like it a fair bit!

It *is* similar to Patrick's Parablox but I like the 3x3 limit you imposed on yourself. The counting block is really neat. Gotta come back and finish it.

Felt like I was getting lost with the camera panning. Will have to come back and try again!

Graphics so crisp. The one thing that tripped me up was the success sound. It's a diminished chord so I was like "did I do it right?" Didn't quite get the hang of it in my limited time but this is a really strong entry.

Loved it. Will come back to git gud. I wouldn't dare take on the programming of something like this for a jam.

Cool idea. Had some confusion because the pattern of keys doesn't necessarily reflect the relative movement of the notes. The rhythmic changes were tricky to parse too. Maybe the time/progress bar needs more information, has multiple segments etc.

With some refinement over the controls it could be a great release.

Could've kept the scope down with a single twist! This a cool idea, I hope you can expand on it! Imagining little stories where you help the towns people with their minor plights. Enjoyed what dialogue was there with NPCs.

Edit: on the plus side, you now have a crazy environment to build on.

Clever stuff.

Very interesting concept. There might be issues with colliders? I might just suck, I'm not sure. haha

The expanding track is a great mechanic. The momentum of the car is really satisfying. Will definitely come back for more rounds.

Very cool artwork and great sound choice. Can see the potential for something more expansive.

I might change the control scheme in future. A tutorial might be added in as well.
Thanks for playing. :3

I really appreciate you checking out my game. In a future version I'm thinking of changing the control scheme so the orbitting is "8-way" but Lune's position would interpolate. Thanks so much for the feedback. 🙏🏽
