The idea is great, I like how I need to think to make my clones do things for me. My pc is not that great is I can’t really play it and with those clone that are adding up is not that great. The SFX are fitting well the game. Anyway keep up the good work.

One of the most enjoyable in the jam that I have played so far. Such a great experience with the smooth movement + clones of myself! Everything feels really well made.

One thing I really liked was how this game is still running smooth even after so many deaths. I don't know how you did it, but you did it really well. The gameplay core is a simple mechanic expanded so well---in the end, I actually enjoyed watching my past self suffer in the parkour than actually attempting it myself haha. (I have failed countlessly at one of the jumps it is hilarious)

One small suggestion is probably to make the clones half invisible---to not hinder the view of the player. In my gameplay, although it is really silly seeing all the clones of me running in front of me, it distracted me from planning my next jump in a game with such fast pace.

Great job!

I'm so glad you liked it!  You're 100000% right about making the clones half invisible and I actually tried to do it, but something about the model I used really didn't like being transparent and looked really creepy (the eyes kind of popped out of their heads) and with the limited time I ended up having to just leave them opaque and obstructing the fov :/

Fun idea, had a blast

Well well well, if it isn't my own actions coming back to haunt me. Great fun, the only issue is that I am bad at platformers so eventually I dropped it. Was definitely hilarious after a while to see the front door just explode under an onslaught of clones.

Developer

Your own actions coming back to kick down a door and then fall into lava XD

This was so fun. Legitimately good puzzles and the silliness of having a bunch of copies running around just adds to the fun. It would be cool to see the copies look a bit different maybe, like actual ghosts, and I had trouble figuring out the first puzzle because it didn't seem like the solution would work initially. I really hope you do more with this!

Developer

Thank you for playing, I'm so glad you enjoyed!  See above reply about the ghosts but TLDR I 100% agree I just couldn't do it bc technical issues

It was really fun after a few attempts, having like 10 of us all charging through the starting door. Nice game!

Very cool game! definitely the one I spent most time on in the jam so far. I went for a speedrun, which did mess up a bit, but I might go for a better time later.

You're second on the leaderboard as of this reply!

Fun time! Cool idea as well

Really love it! altho idk how you manage to make the game not laggy at all with that much input!

Developer

Actually very straightforward!  I recorded position and rotation each FixedUpdate and for a 10 minute run that ends up only being abt 60MB of memory!  The lighting and vfx are also super simple all the lifting is done by 2ish lights and a really good shader inspired by Acerola so there's not actually that much to lag the game

This is some of the best level design I've seen from a game jam submission in some time, I love how the ghosts build up into this little army and the speed just keeps building and bulding as the obstacles get defeated quicker and quicker each round. This is worth a download for sure.

Developer

Thank you so much, I'm so glad you like the level design!
