So What Now?

Hey everyone, you might've heard about itch.io's new, super fun and exciting anti-NSFW shadowban! Ain't that something? ^^

In all seriousness, you don't have to worry too much, even if itch disappears as a whole Lust Shards will still continue to be worked on, and so will all your other favorite FVN's.

Still, I advise everyone to follow both me, and your favorite FVN creators on our respective social medias to keep up with the projects.
You can find me on Twitter and BlueSky, where you can be sure I'll be posting any relevant updates on the game:

BlueSky: https://bsky.app/profile/mindoffur.bsky.social
Twitter: https://x.com/MindOfFur

I'll also start posting the public updates on Patreon and keep them there.

The Lust Shards Discord server is only for Patreon members, but I'll be posting public updates for anyone to be able to access even as a non-member, so if you ever need to download the game and don't know where to look, you can download it there.

Make sure to let your voices be heard that we're not happy about these kinds of things, but also remember that itch itself is not to blame for the mess.

Next update is just around the corner so hold on tight! :]

The strange part one may not realize is that shadow banning is a pastime for even members of the community.  Its highly unfair yet deemed permissible.  If people can do it to others than so to can they can do it to projects.  This is merely the sad evolution we ignored.

This though is a matter of principle that shadow banning is not right.  Yet even among us some find glee from causing misery.

Here's a link with a few more petitions based on where in the world you are.

There is a bill in congress right now that would make it illegal for any financial service provider to directly or indirectly prohibit or inhibit any legal transaction. It's called the Fair Access to Banking Act. H.R.987 in the House, S.401 in the Senate. Call your Representatives. Get it passed.

I am sad, very sad, yet again the conservatives  make the world a bit dimmer. I guess i really should just stay in my workshop refurbishing old tech.
