How does your game fit the theme?
Scientist are about to get started a new EXTREME test. Your job is to get started as a tiny robot. But, there's someone who's also getting started at their job, and they would not let a robot steal their places.

Really fun and creative. I think the overall design is really nice and the gameplay is really creative and fun. I liked the dialogues between the two scientists, they were really funny as well. I very quickly knew what to do and got a hang of the controls easily, though I felt like sometimes I didn't have enough time to properly examine what the other robots were doing so I could copy them, but I think this pushes the player to get started (haha, get it) quite well. The music also fits this nicely. The only grievance I have with this approach ist that you don't have the time to actually figure yourself out because you'll just fail the level and respawn if you can't keep up, which is a little frustrating when you're stuck and would kinda need a moment to practice a sequence of jumps or something. Couldn't progress for that reason but I'm sure I'll manage if I get back to this later.

Thank you! I'm sorry if the game is a bit frustrating, but the game does not stay like this! The second half the game turns into  a side scroller, so i think you would probably like!

The game is fun. The lava area is extremely hard but I did enjoy myself. It took quite a few attempts after I finally figured out what I needed I was able to continue. Well done on the game. Everything felt nice.

Wow, really nice game. Great work on your first game jam! Dialogue is fun, controls are fun, I also love the sort paper mario kind of animation, looks really nice. Nothing to say except what an awesome game.

Really cool game concept! I especially liked the first part with the following in sequence goal. It was a unique goal that I've never really seen before so it felt fresh. The writing was also funny and the art was super polished. Great submission!

I think the concept is pretty creative and quite fun! I enjoyed the scientists banter, and I thought the sprites were really cute. I really adored the colors you used, they fit the vibe perfectly, while also making things pretty easy to see and keep track of. The pacing was fun, almost like a rhythm game at points. I'm surprised this is a first time jam entry, it's great!

I got the both endings, it is really creative and really fun! The automatic wall-jump annoyed me a little bit cuz its hard to control but other than that it is super well made!

Thank you! I'm sorry for the problem - it was not intentional. Tough you can use space bar which is working properly!

Really interesting project. The sounds and the music made this hilarious to play! The wall jumping made me feel a bit annoyed at times but I stuck with it and found it to be quite enjoyable otherwise.

Developer

Thank you! This is not intentional, it is just a incorrect code! (in the updated version is already fixed!)
