I unfortunately keep running into a bug talking with the NPC. It just completely locks up after a couple dialogs. Even though that happened, the shooting and animations look fantastic! If your able to fix that bug, definitely let me know. I'd love to play this, it looks like a lot of fun!

Very impressive game and definatly interesting way to integrate the theme. Reminds me of old CS and R6 games. The game is definatly a bit too hars for the avarage player though I guess it depends what youre really going for. I still recommend lowering the difficulty to reach the widest range of players possible. Maybe make it so theres a way for the player to heal (unless I mist it somewhere), add some checkpoints. I hope some fetures get added to ease the difficulty because I still want to actually beat it. This seems like a very fun game to speedrun.
Half way through the game you get your health back. Basically after the second shootout with the robbers. I did consider a save game/checkpoint system, but I figured since the game is only like 10 minutes long max it wasn't needed. You can use the Q and E keys to peak around corners which might make it easier.
I love the vibe of this game. Brings me back to N64 days, love it. And that revolver reload animation, absolutely loved that! Well done.
I think some of the laser shooting the AI was doing caught me off guard, before I knew it I was down to 11 HP without much time for me to react.
I'd personally shorten some of the dialogue, but that's just me, maybe add an option to skip to the next line for fast readers?
And there was a typo in the beginning, if you care, on the word exactly :)
All in all, well done, I loved playing this!
Keep making games!
This is a cool entry! Unfortunately, I couldn’t complete it because the game was too dark. It took me an extremely long time to figure out how to get out of the entrance area since I couldn’t see the guard, he was literally invisible on my screen. I got stuck in another section for the same reason. I’m pretty sure this issue is specific to my monitor, as I took a screenshot and sent it to my phone, where I could see things (it was dark, but I could make out enough details).
I think if core gameplay elements are hidden in poorly lit areas, a gamma setting would be helpful to make the game more playable on different hardware. That aside, there was a lot of good stuff in what I experienced. I liked the movement and gunplay they were really well done. However, I found that aiming down sights was a bit finicky. When you un-aim, it re-aims without requiring another click, and you need to try a couple of times to get your sight down.
There’s also a bug with the jump mechanic where you can fly by timing a double jump and then repeatedly pressing the space bar, which lets you keep jumping and start flying until you stop.
Overall, it was a great entry, and I wish I could have played more! Great work!
Really liked the atmosphere and that creepy factory vibe. The jump scares worked well, and the old-school shooter style was fun. I did run out of ammo a few times, and the auto-opening notes broke the flow a bit. Overall, I had fun exploring and escaping those encounters. Nice work here... would be awesome if you gave mine a try when you get a sec!
I had to spend 6 bullets to break the wall, then 2 on one guy, then 2 on another, and I was left completely without ammo. The game said I picked up ammo when I walked over one of the enemies' AKs, but for the life of me I couldn't find how to switch to it, only how to holster the revolver. Maybe I just didn't explore enough and there was an AK lying around that I could pick up.
As others have mentioned, picking up notes and immediately displaying them on screen is sometimes annoying, especially if there's also an enemy in the room and you can't see them because you're too preoccupied with the newspaper you just found on the floor.
Those issues aside, I really dig the environment art and design put into this game. Feels delightfully old school, like I'm playing Sin or Soldier of Fortune or something along these lines.
This game is really solid, the idea is good, this was actually the first time I got jumpscared by a mannequin, And I Like how you used FPS Creator instead of the modern engines, the note reading is kinda annoying, if you could make it so that I have to press a button to read the note, same thing with the door, maybe instead of pressing the enter key to open it, maybe E or the LMB, all those aside, you did a good job!
The game appears to be very solid so far, the modeling, the room designs and the characters were very well-done. I can jump super high whenever I hold SPACE key though. I struggled to get through the room that needed a key and I didn't know where to exactly go but this game is aesthetically amazing for a first person shooter.
