Use of the limitation
The entire game takes place inside a box — visually and thematically. All mechanics, animations, UI, and the ritual-like duel are contained within a confined space, reinforcing the idea that you're trapped in something mysterious. Even the opponent — and your fate — is part of what waits in the box.

Thanks again to everyone for your time, unfortunately the next jam is starting and I didn’t have time to play and leave a review in all the games, good luck to everyone
Cool idea. Like the visuals a lot.
Thank you for your time and feedback
Great concept and amazing gameplay, loved the style and feel of the game
The items add a nice change to the blackjack formula, and the atmosphere and setting really adds to it
Thank you for your time and feedback
Enjoyed the game deeply especially since I won XD. Would be better if u highlighted the box so people would know where to take the card from.

Love the concept, the atmosphere and music. Cool game, glad I checked it out

The style and atmosphere are quite nice, i liked it. I couldn't figure out what to do at first, because clicking on the box didn't work. But going full screen, it did work. Probably a browser compatibility problem (Firefox 140 on Ubuntu). I ended up being thrown into in a box for my heresy.
It took a bit to get what was going on, at least everything looked cool. There needed to be a tutorial or something though.
Well, the game is very mechanically simple, but the objects and the fog look quite cool. There are a couple of strategic elements you need to figure out in order to start winning with reasonable frequency. Figuring those out was fun, but by the time I did, I was at a decent deficit, and it certainly would have been less grindy to restart with my new knowledge (though probably quite against the spirit of the game.)
I went back and lost the game on purpose just to see the bad end, (cutting up some jokers as I went, which always seem to make you win otherwise) and... well it's really something XD a bit tonally off compared to the rest of the game. Though I suppose it's not something you're likely to actually encounter much in play.
I had fun with it as a one-shot experience.

Nice game! The atmosphere looks great and the game loop is fun! I didn't understand how the items popped up though, seemed random.

Fun game! I think maybe making the matches shorter would turn this more attractive to casual players.
You haven’t even seen the original version — after losing 7 bones, it used to take away HP (you had 3 of them). Glad I eventually realized that was too much, since reaching 7 points already takes quite some time gameplay-wise.
Cool game! Loved it
Thank you!
I lost all my bones :(
Neat concept! I especially liked the joker type item and the item powerups.
During the last 4 hours of the jam, I was working on animations and creating the Game Over screen.
I like the idea, and the atmosphere was great. I found the game itself to not be super engaging though.
The problem was that I overcomplicated the code, and adapting the enemy AI to interact with items turned out to be difficult. So I had to simplify that part and instead focused more on the environment and immersion.
love the music and the entrance, I was a little confused by the fact that number could go over 13, made it super easy to go over
I wanted to raise the number scale, but I didn’t leave enough time to adjust the balance properly.
Liked the Mainmenu effect
This is actually my first attempt at working with 3D. I originally just wanted to take a break between game jams and make something simple… but of course, I overcomplicated things again
