Nice little point and click adventure game!
Art style is great ๐ŸŽจ and the game has a cool vibe and atmosphere. Fun to have some mini-games also!
Theme could maybe have been a bit more and deeper..

Overall solid jam entry. Keep it going like this ๐Ÿ’ช!

Your art is great! Im sure you know that hahah. I liked the minigames like the fishing in the trash heap.

It was hard for me at first to interact with a couple this, I faced the same issue in my game! But overall the concept is fantastic, I loved the game. Gameplay is nice and makes you want to play more! Music is good but I felt a bit lost at first. Awesome job and keep up with the good work!

Really loved the art style of the game! And also enjoyed the gameplay but don't really see how it applies to the theme. Other than that its a pretty well designed point n click. The art is the highlight of the game for me. Overall Good wok!!

I went through some issues interacting with the UI (Couldn't interact with the top of the screen), it made me wish for a fullscreen button of sorts, but besides that, awesome experience! I was in awe seeing the color choices pop out the screen! It looks as if the art was illustrated using watercolor markers! (character design is also peak). Also Andrew_115 must have been on a sonic CD binge cause the background music sounds almost bar for bar like Tidal Tempest (skip to about 0:30) (I liked the music). I would have been interesting to see more of a turn in the "everything is a resource", for example, if there were secret uses for each item, or different ways to obtain each ship part, but I liked the game!

Developer

Glad you enjoyed! Im super happy you noticed the Tidal Tempest inspo! Yes I absolutely am on a sonic CD binge.

Our team didn't have a ton of time this game jam so the resources themes didn't get super fleshed out but I'm glad you enjoyed!

GAMEPLAY: I got miffed that I only learned the exact requirements after using up another one of my actions. Some dialogue also seemed misplaced--Sharkface started saying the AI's lines after a while. Scrap fishing is slow, parsing everyone's wishes takes a while, and the arcade machine seemed endless (not to mention easily cheesable by sitting still and spamming shoot). The concept's not bad, but there's definite refinement to be made.

VISUALS: I'm impressed that you've seemingly made a lot of paintings for the game--must've taken for-e-ver. The UI's a bit slapped-on--I'd personally reduce the font size and paint out some boxes to make it fit the atmosphere.

AUDIO: Groovy and space-y, I like it.

THEME: I don't really see it. The 'resources' were there, but certainly weren't 'everything'. Leaning into scrap more could be useful--maybe all the items are hashed together like the fish oil, instead of getting a navcube as an arcade prize.

I really enjoyed playing this! I loved the artwork and the minigames! It feels well-made and fun! The music was also very fitting for the game! I was able to beat it first try! Great work, and keep it up!

It was nice to see everything coming together. The space shooter visuals were very nice. I feel like maybe it would've been nice if it played a bit more in the theme, like being able to gather resources in different ways to get your ship running again. Other then that it was a fun play.

Thanks for playing! We did end up having trouble figuring out how that minigame was gonna fit in with the theme, but it does give you tickets to spend on the final ship piece!

I like the vibe, the art fits and feels cute!

One feedback to improve would be avoid using default game engine shapes like the "red x button" or the "dialogue section", since the rest of the game has a hand drawn style, the rest of the UI should look like it too, otherwise it breaks the vibe, other than that, great work :D

Thanks for checkin out the game! Glad you liked it. We only had one person doing the art so we ended up running out of time to do proper UI. Other than that, glad you liked the art!

As a fan of point-and-click adventures, I enjoyed this game! The mini-games were well integrated, and the classic "go here to get this" structure worked nicely.

The art style is very appealing and stands out with its unique look!

The sound design was solid and supported the gameplay well.

The theme was present, even if it could have been integrated a little more.

-> A solid and entertaining game - well done!
