Thanks so much! :D
I'm sorry you were affected by the conversation bug, we've found the source now but unfortunately can't edit our submission to fix it. We've found that the problem has a chance to arise if you take too long to respond to your guests.
I'm happy you enjoyed the game despite that issue! We had a lot of fun making it :D

Thanks for the positive feedback! :D
The conversation minigame is unfortunately a known bug that we only became aware of after the submissions closed, but I'm happy you were able to enjoy the game past that!
I really like your idea of a request list! I think that is totally something we could add given more time on this game to help keep up with all the tasks coming your way.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game! :)
Thanks!
Part of the idea with so many minigames and reports that need your attending was to replicate the feeling of being an overworked party host trying to ensure everything is running smoothly, but I understand that can become a bit overwhelming in terms of gameplay and difficult to remember. Another commenter suggested adding a log of tasks that needed to be completed which I think is a great suggestion that could help the player keep up.
I'm glad you enjoyed! :D
Thanks for trying our game! :D
I appreciate the comments about our graphics and sound design, they took a lot of work to complete so I'm happy they didn't go unnoticed :)
As for the issue with the conversation game, it is unfortunately a known bug, which also, unfortunately, only became known once submissions had closed. For the drinks minigame, you have to drag the empty glasses to the sink to fill with water, and the empty cups to the bottle to fill with juice. We did realise that some of our minigames could potentially be quite unclear and we had wanted to include mini guides for each, but sadly we couldn't complete them in time.
I like the idea of catching the saboteur more than once, having them change disguises would be a perfectly suited idea for a costumed Halloween party!
Thanks for the feedback! :D
Thanks, really appreciate the feedback!! :DD
I'm glad you enjoyed the progression of the game, coming up with new rods and fish was one of my favourite parts of working on the game :)
I like your ideas for potential new features! I think it would be really cool to expand more on the bullet hell aspect of the game, giving the bobber new abilities to avoid obstacles and get around more freely, and the ones you suggested are really cool!
Congrats on beating the game!! :D
Thanks!! :DD
It does seem apparent that we should have explained the mechanics of the game a bit more clearly, but I'm glad you still figured it out!
Maybe we should have added a little exclamation point notification or something on the smushify button when you get a required fish?
Every fish is part of a balanced stat diet :)
Thanks for playing!! :D
We had fun coming up with how the fish could differ in their movement, and I completely agree the the coelacanth (yellow hat) is one of the most frustrating :)
I like the ideas you came up with to improve the theme! :D
Maybe a more customisable rod menu could work? Or some kind of accessory system? Fun to think about :))
Thanks!! :D
I agree we could have made some aspects of the game, such as the smushify mechanic, more clear in the brief tutorial. To clarify, there are two specific fish you need to catch to upgrade your rod for each 'level', and if you catch one of these fish they will be revealed in the smushify menu.
Thanks for playing and for your feedback! :D
I do agree that some elements of the game we left slightly too vague and should have been more clear about, if we had slightly more time a more in-depth and interactive tutorial would be high on our to-do list! Happy you were still able to figure it out :)
Fishing up the Kraken was one of our sillier ideas, I'm glad you liked it :)
Thank you!! :D
I agree with your points about the mechanics not being immediately obvious.
To be honest, the brief 'tutorial' slides at the beginning of the game were a very last-minute addition, if we had a bit more time we probably would have created a much more interactive and informative tutorial!
Glad you enjoyed!! :))
Thanks so much!! :D
We had a lot of fun coming up with goofy and silly ideas for our game, I'm glad you liked them! :D
Happy you enjoyed the progression of the game, it's super cool hearing about your experience!
The rhyming was unintentional lol, but I'm surprised I didn't pick up on it! Seems like something I would've noticed!
Absolutely love this game!!! :DD
Had so much fun messing around, combining different powers and seeing what new moves I could use! Each ability has such cool attributes and effects!
The art style is fantastic! I love it! The characters look really simple yet cute and I really like the blocky, N64 style! (It feels very similar to 'Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards', a great game, and a big inspiration perhaps?)
The camera movement is also super unique and fun! I love how it keeps you on the main path forwards, whilst still providing the player with optional alternate paths to give them more freedom and choice in exploring!
Fantastic job! Absolutely one of my favourite games from this jam!
Really enticing game!! Spent my first playthrough getting accustomed to the layout and figuring out how things worked, and managed to beat it on my second try!
I really enjoyed finding the special items and figuring out how to use them for the high paying items! None of them felt impossible to solve and overall the game just felt really balanced and well thought through! One feature I liked in particular was the music speeding up as the timer started running out, really gave me a sense of urgency and panic in the last few seconds!
The concept is also great! Love the creativity of it and how satisfying it feels to simply destroy a city and get paid for it!
Overall, really fun and balanced game! Great work! :D
Really fun!! Super simple mechanics that are used together in such a cool way to provide a layer of complexity that makes for a really fun but challenging game!! Love the super creative ideas and mechanics that went into this!
The level design was also phenomenal! Really pushed each mechanics various abilities to their limits and combined different mechanics in fun ways to provide interesting and enjoyable challenges!!
