I'm sorry you were affected by the conversation bug, we've found the source now but unfortunately can't edit our submission to fix it. We've found that the problem has a chance to arise if you take too long to respond to your guests.
I'm happy you enjoyed the game despite that issue! We had a lot of fun making it :D
