Fun little game to pass the time! Got me stressing a little bit trying to balance between the mouse and everything else!
Although I'm pretty sure it's a bug but sometimes when the ear is popping up, I stop the mouse, but end up getting attacked anyway. I just want to make sure that this IS a bug and not a mechanic I didn't notice.
The way I programmed it was for the ear monster to check whether the cat is active or not. The cat can still be active while the mouse has been deactivated, because the cat still needs to catch up. And when the cat catches up, then it becomes inactive.
The idea was for the monster to listen for the footsteps of the cat but I don't think I achieved that very well. Sorry about that. Glad you liked the game! I know that it's not perfect and there are many things to fix, I'm still happy that there is something enjoyable to be found.

Oh my gawness! Thank you for playing my game. A lot of the games' fun was developed the last day. The happiness, increase in enemy AI, tutorial. I also watched my cousin play when the submit period was over and he struggled with understanding the mouse as well XD. I should've added a mouse icon to indicate what your action is gonna do or simple instructions for the mouse when it appears. I also notice that in this release of the game, it lags in the begging when loading the first enemy. There is so much work to be done to improve the game but my biggest regret was not having an end goal for the player. Right now, you can play infinitely and the only way to end the game is to die. So yeah, that sucks. But thank you for playing anyway ^^ I'm glad you liked had some fun out of it.

I like it a lot, you did a lot with a very simple concept. Which I think is peak game jam material. Also the infinity symbol winder was a nice touch

Congrats on your submission! I like the simplicity and effectiveness of the white outlines on black. My only real complaint was that sometimes I was winding the mouse and as soon as it was about to move, the thing in the middle with the ear would pop up and there was noise already being made when it spawned so it was attacking the kitty. It would have been nice to have some kind of feedback for when you poked the eyes, but I understand with the time constraints it's hard to add a lot of things.
