Great game! Awesome art, nice music and concept. The level design is great too. An issue I had in the game were the jumps, sometimes the character wouldn't jump, and the walljumps are a bit wonky, maybe adding wallrunning would make it better? Wonderful job!

Great game. The way you used the limitation was very good and played very well. The art, music, sfx, and gameplay was all amazing. Wonderful Work!
I love how every jump costs coins, the stages are tough and kept me playing for ages.
Amazing! Liked it a lot, good presentation, loved the art, good game
This is a stellar little puzzle platformer. No notes. Solid jam game.
Really cool concept and mechanics, I finished the game and enjoyed it, very fun to play!
These controls are awesome, I´ve never played with such smooth camera movements and general movements. The idea is amazing too(I made it on my 3rd try with exactly 0 coins remaining on the end screen). One of the best entrys for sure.
Extremely well made entry, especially for your second (and first) jam. :D Like many other have already said: The presentation through artsyle, music and intro is spot on for a jam game, and the implementation of the theme as well as the limitation is creative.
The controls felt great, but "coyote time" (the ability to jump even if you just left a platform) would have made them even greater, and I would have loved some button to slide down walls faster. Maybe you can incorporate this in your next platformer ;)
Thank you! I actually thought of implementing coyote time when first writing the character controller, and then I kinda forgot about it. Yeah. Just like that. I'm that bad with maintaining a todo list. But I definitely want to work a little bit more on the game, and polish a few thing, so I'll add something like that.
The pixel art is great and the mechanics, well executed!
If there’s one point that I think could be improved upon, since it confused me until I checked the comments, it’s the fact that the game doesn’t explicitly tell you that paid doors lead to easier rooms. When I played through the game, I thought the two kinds of door just lead to different places.
Maybe adding a « Easy » sign above paid doors could have made this clearer.
Regardless of that, the platforming was very good and responsive, good job!
Awesome game! I really liked the pixel art and sounds design. I think I almost spend 200 gold failing that last level on normal difficultly XD. The wall climbing felt pretty responsive too. Great job!
Nica visuals and soundtrack, I really liked the mechanic and the gameplay but I suck at it 🤣, need to train more, Very good work!
