Use of the limitation
In my game, players must claw their way out of brutal debt to win big rewards. Everything comes at a cost, namely, that crushing debt.

Really fun game with nice visuals. I love how the limitation is incorporated! The game definitely needs more SFX, visual feedback, sound effects, music, etc. Great work!
Really fun game, loved playing it. The art is really good too. Good job!
This game toy with my gambling addiction lmao. The down side is, the game lacks sfx, and music.
would be nice if you included a small tooltip for when people click so many times on the coin to flip so they know how, also having the coin counter be a little faster would be nice.
Love me some lucky be a landlord game. Very hard but very fun, heavy coin is op. Sound design and a little more balance and clarity and i could buy it :)
Really unique concept. Cool game.
Can become a really good game if you develop it fully it's already so fun and compelling. Add more coins introduce few more mechanics and it's a steam game.
A bit confusing at the beginning, but fun
Really Fun game. The concept is really good. It would be a lot better if there were audio. I was a bit confused about how to flip the coin at first, but I eventually figured it out. Had lots of fun trying to save myself from debt.
I think the concept is really smart and creative, but the concept by itself needs something more than just losing or gaining money. I could see this game with more time becoming better and more fun, I like the idea of badges and luck based flipping. I also think, yes, some audio would be nice but overall nice job.
Nice game, the lack of sounds is definitely a little jarring, but other than that the presentation is solid
It took me some time to find out how to flip the coin, but thats obviously my fault. I had a fun time playing it and presenation wise this game stands out. My only critisism is, that theres no SFX, unless i missed.
This was cool little experience, i really like that the central game mechanic with the coin flips are physics simulations and not based on RNG, so that you actually have a lot of control while still being random enough with the cards to keep things interesting.
Really the only feedback i have is the audio and the text on the cards, maybe it was just me but there wasn't any sound or music in the game, but since its a game jam submission it makes sense though. With the text on the cards, since some cards use drop and some use earn, that was a bit confusing. I think it would've been better if you just used earn. Overall pretty good game.
Fun game! Quite difficult, too. I like how you incorporated the themes here.
Really nice concept, presented with a cute art style. The coin flip mechanic itself was interesting, though it takes a bit to get used to.
Feedback:
Overall the game is well presented, and I had some good fun with it. Nice work!
Such great feedback, I've taken notes.Thank you so much! I'll do my best to give you equally good feedback in return.
I really liked the idea of choosing effects through a roguelike-style coin flip. The physics-based coin flipping is also a fun concept, but once you get used to it, it feels like you can consistently get the result you want. Maybe each coin could have its own characteristics, so even if you drag them the same way, they’d flip differently depending on the coin. That could add an extra layer of strategy!
Awesome idea, really appreciate it!
A neat little idea! I managed to get through a few payments before it was too much to continue. Some of the terminology was confusing at first, "Earn" coins made sense but the coins with "Drop" in their description made me think I would lose coins if I activated their effects. Also it would've been nice to have music or a sound for the coin flipping maybe. I loved the art style though!
Appreciate the advice. I'll get it fixed ASAP!
I’m open to feedback, but please play the game first before you comment.Really want constructive feedback, not fact mix ups from people who haven’t actually played the game.
Cute concept. Maybe a little too luck based for my liking. I don't think the game led to a lot of interesting decisions, just hoping that decent faces come up.
I don't feel like you really used the limitation.
Dude, if you’d actually played the game, you’d know the badge flips are 100 % skill based. Each flip is a physics simulation, the length of your mouse drag equals the launch force. The only “luck” is whether you slip up on your own input. And did you notice you have to pay your due for every few flips? The goal is to pay off all your due, that’s “Everything at a cost”. I’m open to feedback, but please play the game first before you comment.
I did play the game and did notice the dues.
I'll cope to blanking a bit on the "paying dues" part being "everything at a cost" because it struck me more as a target than a cost. I apologize for that statement, and I've adjusted my rating accordingly.
However, the flips being skill based and not luck based is not something that was obvious to me at all. When someone seems to be missing a critical point of your game like that, it's good to take a step back and wonder "Did my game convey that clearly?" rather than immediately jump to the conclusion that the person was commenting in bad faith.
Beyond the flipping, on my first go through, I'm about 50% sure that even with perfect flipping, it would have been mathematically impossible to actually hit the goal because none of the faces that came up in the 'bank' would have given me enough money. That's part of what I meant by "too luck based".
