Zelda Meets Star Wars With A Chicken is a rock-solid premise. You should keep on with this, it needs to exist!

I noticed you can walk through the wall near the top right side of the princess' cell.  Let me move around freely and go anywhere.

Developer

Good catch ! I think I have forgotten to setup collision on those tiles, I’ll check then, thanks !

No prob.  It was actually a fun little thing when I stumbled on it.  Also you can do something similar by moving south during the intro text scrolling.

I think it's a fun idea that had the potential for even more, but the fact that it's so short actually makes it somewhat memorable. Good job!

Developer

Thanks !

Well, this is easily the shortest jam game I have played this year!  Just don't forget: When it comes to game making, ideas are only 1% of the job. The other 99% is making them a reality.

Notes:

  • Are you supposed to be able to perform actions while the introduction is playing? I could certainly hear them.

Thanks for playing the game ! Yes, I took too much time making the assets ^^’. Nice catch, actually yes, I know this flow, I was so short on time that I assumed people won’t play during the title screen. I’ll correct it in the next version ;)

The pad in the first room was a bit confusing, but I loved the character sprites you made

Developer

Thanks, I’m glad you liked it ! Can you tell me more about what you found confusing in the first room ? It will help me to correct the bug.

Love the Leia rooster, would love to see more

Developer

Thanks, there will be, stay tuned !

Definitely a go at it! There's certainly a lot more to go to make it compelling  to play. The silliness though is nice to see.

Developer

Thanks !! I had a plan for this game, but I spent too much time on making the assets (usually I don’t create them). But I definitely planned to make the complete mini-dungeon :)

The animation for the sword is  very fun in a good way, I enjoyed it, good job!

Thanks ! I tried to make as much engaging as possible, if you liked it then I am glad :)
