Unity 6 and Wwise

Use of the limitation
Randomized falling blocks and the mode switches midgame, with unknown resolution in gameplay. We planned on having power-Ups in Planning phase to create further unpredictability but we ran into time constraints.

Very surprised by this! I thought it was a basic tetris game, until the end. Very well done!

Very clever idea! I could see this being expanded into a nice mobile game.

I would suggest a smaller game space and bigger blocks. Even playing full-screen, I had a squint to figure out what was what.

Really cool game! I enjoyed it and will definitely play more in local multiplayer with a friend later. The unit with AoE attack felt overpowered compared to other units.

Hah yeah one of our team members had a little gathering where they played it locally and came to the same conclusion that Mages were on the weaker side and Dragons and Cannons were quite strong. Thinking on it we probably coulda had Shield blocks stop cannons shots from doing AoE and keep Dragons as a "shield counter". Didn't quite get to the balancing part in time!

Absolutely fantastic game - really enjoyed it and thought the gameplay loop was super unique.

Thank you! :)

This is pretty fun! It was interesting combining the tetris mechanics with the tower defense.

Thank you! Haha, one of our initial ideas for the title was "Tower Offense" but Stack King won over pretty fast once Rey thought of it!

I've played my fair share of Tetris. This is really good. I do wish the controls were different specifically for rotating blocks. Also, the limitation isn't really here.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah with us wanting to have local multiplayer having four hands on the keyboard at a time felt like more than we wanted to try to plan for! So we tried to keep the controls centered around the normal configuration.

Such a unique spin on a classic game! I was confused about the scoring at first but once I saw the first battle it all made sense. The idea is amazing, I could easily see this as an actual game. I love the presentation as well, especially the music. The way it builds in intensity leading up to the battle is done so well. Great job!

Thanks a lot! We weren't even sure we were going to enter originally until we came up with the idea the day after the jam started. We actually might have some plans to test implement some online multiplayer for learning and practice later haha.

I can tell you that I will 100% be playing this with friends if you guys add online multiplayer, I'd love to see that :) No pressure of course lol

Loved the game. I didn't understand at first, but when the towers started fighting it all clicked. Please keep developing the Idea.

Appreciate the feedback! We wanted some more interactivity in the planning phase, but glad to hear that watching the battles is a fun payoff :)
