I love the idea, but I don't like timed puzzles that much, so that'll dock a point for me personally. Perfect otherwise.

(1 edit)

Thanks. Baba was one of my three inspirations (I wanna be the guy and kaizo mario were the other 2). The dash mechanic ended up in a weird spot because I only really designed the last level around it. Every other level you could get through without dashing, but it did help you beat some in easier ways.
I was afraid something like that could happen tho. But hey, at least I did warn people about reading the controls, so I can absolve myself of some of the blame (not really)

Really liked when it got speedy, but it felt like level design was more "Mario" than "Sonic", if you know what i mean.

If the level design had complemented the character controls properly (More ramps and slopes, less platforms and steps), this game would've been a solid 10/10. Even then, it's still really fun.

Liked the game. A little jank, but that's a plus not a minus. Also I'm a sucker for any game that makes you cast spells in creative ways.

The concept is really good. Maybe the balance is a little off, as it's kinda hard to keep the board balanced once rules start rolling in. The music fits really well and the artstyle is cute. The animations and gamefeel are all spot on.

First, I'm going to have to dock a point because no audio controls and the music was too loud.

Anyways, the game is solid and the art is sublime. I would've maybe made the feedback of on which part you're aiming on a little better, and also make the enemy shoot back at you if you take too long.

Thanks. The character was the first thing I designed. Wanted to give it as much personality as possible while keeping it constrained to just 8x8. Guess I did a good job on that one.

Yeah, I had some issues making the difficulty right. I wanted to take some inspiration from stuff like Kaizo Mario, so it was hard to not make the levels too hard. If I could change some thing I'd probably move some of the harder levels to later in the game.

Yeah. I didn't have enough time to perfect the collisions with enemies. If you hit them at the right angle even tho it might feel like you would bounce on them they'll kill you still. If I ever work more on the game in the future I'll definitely fix it.

Loved the game. I didn't understand at first, but when the towers started fighting it all clicked. Please keep developing the Idea.

I feel like it needs to do more explaining, or give you more time to process what's happening on screen at the very least.

The concept reminds me of dumb ways to die, in a good way.

Like UNO but each card changes the rules. Honestly, that's quite an original idea. I you ever have time to finish this one up and polish it, I think it can make a pretty fun party game.

I liked it quite a bit, but the levels felt a little slow. I would've loved if there was a pause time option but the ants were faster to compensate. Just a minor nitpick tho, overall a really good game.

I would've loved it if you had played with the knockback mechanic a little more, like using it for proper schmovement. As it stands it's kinda just frustrating, but the concept itself is great.

The art is incredible, the concept is okay. The only thing I don't like is that it can take a long time between spins. I had a single spin last like 2 minutes due to RNG.

I love the concept of an action game with cards, but the implementation is definitely rough around the edges. I'd love to see were this goes with more time in the oven.

Heyo. I've made these 2 sprites to add to the scene.

Yes, those 3 are supposed to be stacked on top of each other

;)

Overall pretty good, tho I'd say it needs a timer between waves or something to pressure the player into going faster and commit mistakes. Right now you can just wait out the red DNA.

The feeling of breaking the bonds is insanely good tho, really has a good snap to it.

Thanks, they took me a while to make,
