Great work! I loved the art style and upgrade system! Super cool!
Super addicting! Managed to get to level 17 before I started to get a bit too funky with my designs. Great pick for the music too, didn't get old despite playing so long.
Wow level 17 is crazy, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed the game enough to play that far!
took me a while to figure it out, but this is absolutely fire design. also funky music
The music was cool and I like the aesthetics! I really like the card system! Sometimes the lasers would go through the mirrors but I did manage to place a good amount of them before I ran out of shots. Great idea and good execution!
Really enjoyed the core mechanic. I loved how you create your own game board throughout each level. Very very cool and fun!
The biggest problem is that the way the mirrors reflect the lasers isn't very intuitive, it's hard to tell where the laser will go without looking at the guide (The fact that it's needed shows the problem). Also the UI isn't very clear, the lose condition is very easy to miss IMO.
Fun! Cool mechanic with the cards!
It's extremely satisfying when the lasers travel a long and complex path that you've built and finally cause tons of damage. Great job!
Really enjoyed this one, i played all the way to level 9 but then got stuck when my lazers entered an infinite loop lol! well done
My only gripe is that it isn't clear which direction the laser would go at first and as far as i could tell there is no way to delete the mirrors if you mess up, but otherwise found the mix of strategy and rng really entertaining and the card placement allows for some crazy and creative combos, a very well designed core loop. Big number big fun!
I really enjoyed this one. The random coins made me think about how to place mirrors effectively and the card/relic system added to the challenge. It was fun to reroute segments into previously used mirrors and watch the damage go exponential. Great game!
Really fun game that has a surprising amount of depth for a jam game. I ended up making my deck into a build focused around burn damage and it was really satisfying to get to build my initial idea into an actual deck that felt very powerful the more upgrades I purchased. My only complaint is to me it felt unintuitive which direction the bullets would reflect and took me a while to get it down since it wasn't super obvious to me through the art design of the mirrors. However once I figured it out I had a blast with this game! Great submission and a really fun deck-builder made in such a short time window. I'm a sucker for deck-builders I love them :)
I had to pull myself away. Super fun design, very intuitive and easy to learn. Lots of emergent strategy and the numerical craziness that draws me in to games like vampire survivors and balatro. Very well done!
Amazing game, really creative and fun. I could honestly see myself playing this for quite a while. Wish you luck, I hope you score high!
I managed to beat the game and the game is extremely fun, took a while to know how it works, but once i know how it is very fun and satisfying, a suggestion i have to the game is too add random walls or a stopper in the map, so people cant just put all the mirrors on the side of the map and take all of the coins. Anyway great game :>
Great take on the theme, I too couldnt quite figure out how to get the mirrors to reflect the bullets in the way that I wanted, but it was still fun hapharazdly placing mirrors and hoping for the best
Sorry the tutorial is so bad, I tried to draw this pic to explain the reflection mechanics better and give an example of how you could chain mirrors together a bit. I'm glad to hear it was still kinda fun even tho it wasn't clear how to play!
Thanks for the picture! I thought the mirrors were flat at first, but when I figured out that it was standing up it made a lot more sense. Played the game some more and had a blast. You made me want to make a deckbuilder next :P But in all seriousness, great job with this one. Very satisfying and I like how the coins give some goal for each round. Thanks for sharing!
Love the idea and the music is great! I couldn't figure out how to know which way the laser was going but love the creativity of combining a deckbuilder with mirror placing, wouldn't have thought of that. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much I'm glad you still liked some stuff about the game even tho it's not clear how it all works. Sorry the tutorial is so bad, I ran out of time to make one. Here's a pic that trys to explain how the reflection works if you wanna give it another try at some point.
