Are you planning on releasing the gamedev game? I really want to try it out myself now.

Post jam update -

  • Adjusted some levels to make them easier
  • Changed level ordering
  • Reduced speed requirement on some levels
  •  Jumps should be easier to execute
  • Lowered airborne friction

very addicting and well made core system, just wish the cat did something, like it would get mad if you're not constantly feeding it more and more loops so there's some more incentive to build a cat feeding factory, but still nice overall.

Yeah Sorath's games were a big inspiration for the design. Been playing Hyper demon nonstop for the past couple weeks.

wow that's really impressive for just 4 days!

Can only get the test scene and level editor to work, if i hit play the character just keeps falling.

looks cool, control scheme took some getting used to and enemies aren't that threatening if you read the descriptions. what engine was this made in?

Really creative interpretation on the the theme and quite polished looking, can definitely see this being a full game.

Why does this have so few reviews! Really good art and animations, but missing some enemy variety.

Good puzzles and creative take on reflecting a laser.

Highest production quality I've seen this jam!

What an amazing submission the game feel is just perfect! But the progression seemed a bit slow throughout maybe including an upgrade that gives more money per distance could help.

can see potential in the idea but currently very unfinished

The reflex mechanic is really well polished and i like that you can skip some "intended" routes if you think outside the box. Good job!

My only gripe is that it isn't clear which direction the laser would go at first and as far as i could tell there is no way to delete the mirrors if you mess up, but otherwise found the mix of strategy and rng really entertaining and the card placement allows for some crazy and creative combos, a very well designed core loop. Big number big fun!

Thanks for the detailed review, might update later

Really enjoyed the puzzles and visual aesthetic, but found some colliders to not be intuitive, overall a nice and cozy experience.

very frog 👍

cool concept, would like to see some abilities or upgrades
