Music made me think of the merry go round theme in SM64 which was a bit unsettling but so on point especially as you scrambling to find the remaining cell to lyse. Using the other virus as a blockade that could block the you or the big immune cell really changed the stage of the game naturally which I thought was great game design. Lots of fun!

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

Nice work here! I really like the take on the theme of a virus infecting a body - very relevant to our current situation - and the game was fun overall. I did find that the music was a little too repetitive and distracting at times, however this might just be a personal issue.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll keep that in mind for my next game.

Cool game, like the music! Fits the theme very well. I found that it was kind of easy, as I could basically just spam space and walk around. There didn't really seem to be any downside of getting hit by the green bullets, so I just sort of ignored them. Maybe if you added some debuff on hit like a slow-down effect, that could be cool. Nice submission!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! The more green things you hit, the faster the moving enemy gets, although it isn’t too hard to slow it back down with virus particles. I like the idea of a slow-down debuff on the player!

Good music and very good implementation of the theme of the jam, it is also original. It deserves a good rating

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the game!

that was really nice! I liked the music, one section reminded me of some Conlon Nancarrow which is a pleasant surprise. I really loved how the red bits released restrict your movement, I guess there's some downsides of being everywhere :)

Developer

Thanks! And also thank you for introducing me to Conlon Nancarrow. Never listened to his music before but I do notice some resemblance!

Nice job on this! I was able to beat it! Not sure the significance of the antibody count. Great work!

Developer(+1)

Thank you! Great job on beating it :) Initially, I had the antibody count for debugging purposes, but I decided to leave it as a sort of score. Lower count means you dodged things better, but yeah the more important number is how many cells you can lyse.

Ahh I gotcha that makes sense. Thanks for clearing that up!
