Fun game with good surprises! It was a bit hard for me personally, but I definitely think this is a great platformer for people that are more into this genre than I am! The controls feel snappy and I never felt like the controls were the reason for my death... only my own incompetence was ;D

Smooth camera, nice visuals and fitting sounds. Great game!

The idea unexpected things happening was pretty fun. Definitely a very hard game. Sadly the game was a bit buggy.

yeah, this game is hard, had a couple of friends trying it (among some others) in discord last night, and I don't think anyone finished, but I had fun listening to the salt.

I agree with another comment on here that there is an issue when you have respawn on the first level, sometimes you just get shoved up into the spikes (I wasn't pressing space to respawn).

Thanks for feedback. I have never had such a bug at 1 level, but I will check it. Unfortunately, I can't update the game while I'm in the gamejam.

Seems a little glitchy. Sometimes when the level starts my cube just shoots up into some spikes. Definitely fits the surprise theme though!

Man, this game sure fits the theme haha. Almost every block comes up with surprises. I died soo many times. But I liked it. And you were right I couldn’t pass level 2.

Sometimes, when restarting the first level, the wee cube gets shot straight up into a spike by the way

Maybe because you press Space for the restart and the player immediately jumps up. This is my fault, however, i hope you liked my game.
