Nice graphics and controls quite well. The UI seemed a bit out of place, with the giant menu buttons and pixel font when the rest of the game was quite smooth 3D. Concept was pretty fun, though since you can turn with the mouse, and the jump button doesn't change, you only really need to know which button is forward. A pretty game in general though.

very fun to play game, the jump mechanic frustrated me a lot, but I don't think its such a bad thing as I would've gotten through it a lot easier otherwise. a boss fight would've been so awesome on this.

Looks nice, handles well(maybe a little bit floaty on the jump) and I liked the level design. While the idea is interesting I pretty much just used the forward button whatever that was at the time.

Pretty fun, and the world is quite lovely. I did find it tricky to use the mouse along with some of the control configurations though, so I ended up basically only moving forward (no backwards or strafing). I agree with some of the other comments that checkpoints would be helpful, especially since the jump always seemed to go further than I wanted and so I kept throwing myself in the lava by accident! Ah well, I still had fun :)

Whenever the controls switched to include numbers, they just didn't work (don't know if it's my keyboard or what). Also having checkpoints would have been nice so that you don't have to start all the way at the beginning after failing a backwards jump over lava (due to the forwards key being a number and thus unuseable)

Thanks for your feedback.
When the controlls switch to numbers, the numpad definitely will not work, because we did not implement it. But the top bar with numbers on the keyboard should work, if not I do not either why.

Right. I have finally figured out what the problem was: My keyboard is not a qwerty, and normally when playing wasd-only games I switch my keyboard configuration to British so that they keys are in the right place. However, for this game I switched back to default so that I could actually find the letters I needed to press. Now my default keyboard only has numpad numbers; the numbers on the top bar can only be accessed by holding shift or having caps lock on. This doesn't work in your game: holding down shift or having caps lock on still doesn't make it register. And the number pad didn't work either, as you said.

So the solution I found to play the game was to constantly switch keyboard configuration: default when searching for a letter, then to British when I need a number. If I do this, the game works and I was actually able to finish it (to be fair not having to do backwards jumps makes it a lot easier)

The exact same thing happened to me haha

Well done on executing the control swapping in a really natural and polished way~! having set locations in the world meant that the challenge came more from remapping my brain than rather suddenly throwing myself into lava. I got a score of 2,600~! I think I got everything except for that ring floating above the lava~!

Thanks for your feedback. Nice that you managed to finish the game :-). (BTW: The perfect score is 3200)

I hate everything about this, which means it's working. This a great concept! (Don't worry this is a positive comment btw hehe)

OK, this is the first game ive come across that i just want to keep plaing.

Its a fun new way to think about platforming and makes for some interesting puzzles. Nice Work!

Edit: my 1 suggesstion would be add some way to recover so that lava isnt instant death.
