I'm really bad at this lol. Cute game! I think it'd be cool if there were parts of the song with like different colored arrows that allow you to attack back and you have to press in the actual direction ofthose arrows, rather than the opposite.

I actually really like that idea! Maybe I'll implement that if I do a full release.

Great execution on the theme. My stupid brain really got scrambled playing it.

I managed to see the end, but damn did it take a lot of tries.

Very polished visuals and gameplay. Well done!

The graphics are cool, and the music is awesome!

I'm kinda bad with rythm games and inverted thingy, it's fine tho, overall it's good! Nice work!

Submitted

genuinely very good.

but, turns out telling people to do the opposite of what they see on screen, is just really annoying

These animations are so slick and the song is really catchy. My only issue is that there were one or two times where it felt like the timings switched between the melody, the bass and the drums and I wasn't quite sure which to follow. Minor issue though as I did get the hang of it on my 3rd try or so.

I like it. Though the text is hard to read.

Do you want to check mine out too?

I think the zip is broken right?

The game is really good, I love the music. I also love how you managed to make a rhythm game with the given topic!

It's nice to see rythm games in the jam. Obviously the music is the best part of the game.

However, when the music really starts to play, i often had the problem if i didn't press the right keys, i just hit the wrong keys over and over again and the game was over quickly. But maybe it's just me.

Despite that, i had a lot of fun playing your game. The pixel art and animation is very well done. Good job.

It's nice to see more rhythm games, and trying to play it when my trained instincts say the opposite all the time was pretty difficult to break out of. I liked the music and visuals, though perhaps more could be done to fit the theme.

Very fun rhythm game. I noticed that even though the two characters bobbed in sync to the beat at the start, after a few notes they were out of sync with each other. This wasn't a big problem or anything, just something I noticed.

Great graphics, fun gameplay, and nice music. Very good.

Best graphics by far!

Cool twist on the standard rhythm game format!

Very good music. The animation were really juicy.

Very nice :)

Really enjoyed your music!

A cute spin on rhythm games, with wonderful art! My one complaint is that as a rhythm game, the moves often don't like up with the beats of the music. Instead of playing by ear, I had to ignore the music and just react visually. Which is a shame, because I enjoy the music :)

I love this game, it remind me one finger punch. shame that  clue is on bottom of screen, we don't really see her dance.
