Things I liked about the game:

  • Simple mechanics
  • Lots of possibilities kept me on my toes and looking at every detail
  • Not too long

Things I didn't like:

  • I didn't understand how to play until I watched Hawk's stream
  • Dark mode makes it annoying to investigate the room
  • Grammar issues and other language issues made the story and instructions difficult to understand

I enjoyed this game so much that I played it after watching Hawk play on VoD. It's a very good jam game, and I'm impressed at how you made so many different anomalies. Well done!

I like this game a lot. Both dev and player perspective (no overscoping, except maybe the 50 anomalies the dev mentioned)   It's short, it works, it's a 'roguelike' thus giving a different experience everytime, and it's fun. I somehow(fool's luck maybe) got through the 12 rooms randomly after understanding the game.

My only nitpick is maybe adding a "hands-on experience" or a tutorial room because I had no idea how the game was suppose to played at first, even though the piggy npc already clearly explained how to play the game. Still, a solid entry!

Awesome game it was so fun! Yeah maybe just a mention you go backwards next time bc not everyone saw or remembers this exit 8 game, but SO cool!!!

I like the concept of the anomalies, and I think for an RPG Maker project, you pulled it off really well. I liked the atmosphere of the levels and it didn't really stress me out too much to memorize everything. I DO think what you might want to consider is a tutorial to just explain HOW you deal with anomalies; it took me two or three tries before I remembered how Room 8 played to understand how I'm supposed to move forward. That aside, this is a solid entry that's just tense enough for you to want to keep going, and not so frustrating that you want to give up. Good job. I do want to know how far I need to get to get the cutscene BroodyGaming got; I got to room 8 and didn't trigger anything except for spider webs appearing more often. Is it random? I'll keep playing to see if maybe I just missed it or if I can get to the final area.

I played tested this during its beta phase, and I enjoyed seeing all the improvements and the new anomalies xD :D <3 As always, a very fun and cute game that leaves you becoming more aware of the surroundings and having that excitement and tension of hopefully getting thru the room without missing an anomaly :D I also enjoyed the cuteee pixel sprites so much! I want a plushie of 'em xD :D <3 But yeahhh! A very fun entry by BabeElena! Best wishes on the jam! ^^

Ahahaha, I'm SO bad at these kinds of games. Very cute and cheeky. Only once did I make it through the first few rooms to the first proper cutscene after the intro.  I dunno if there's more beyond that, I never got that far again. Reminds me of like, those security camera games where you have to spot the differences? Loved all the references, every time I did notice an anomaly it felt really rewarding. (to be honest I was guessing more often than not though).

The directions were a little vague. I got as far as the third room. I knew what you were going for, you were referencing a recent game HawkZombie played where we find an anomaly. Though the rooms seemed a little too same-y which lead to me getting killed so many times.
