Okay, that is definitely a game I'm going to keep for a little bit. Yes, it was short, but I think it was exactly what it needed to be; it COULD be another level if you wanted, but more than that and it would lose its charm. The ending is definitely worth every second, and I really love the voice acting. I'm assuming it's you, but whoever it is, let them know that they did a good job. :) To be honest, I'm not really sure I would change anything. I never ran into the bug Hawk found, but I also wouldn't get rid of it, because that was an amazing laugh and is a wonderful bonus. Good job, KV.

😃Awesome, glad you liked it so much! Yes, that's me doing the voice acting (+ a little audio magic to make my voice lower).

I'll probably keep the death bug because I have other projects to attend to but I'd like to know WHY it happens! But that's a mystery for another time.

Thanks again for the feedback. 🙂

This was so fun!! Very satisfying. Took me a few tries so when I finally got through the door I was really jazzed. I think it was so well balanced too, like, none of my deaths felt unfair and I learned and got better each time I died. Very nice environment, simple and easy to navigate. (Good voice acting! Did you do that?!) Good clean silly fun <3

🤩 Yay, I’m glad you liked it! Yes, that was me voice acting with a touch of effects to pitch my voice down a little. 🙂 Thanks for the feedback!

I liked it. First time downloading an indie project on the Unreal Engine. I do gotta say though, it REALLY requires you to optimize your computer. Once I did that, the game worked well. Though... It was a little too dark for my eyes. Honestly picked up the gun also and didn't know how to shoot the Feather Dead agents either. BUT what I could see in the darkness led to some good atmosphere. Also seeing the enemies glow really helped. And hearing your voice in this game was a blast!

I’m honored to be the first!
Unreal games look great, but they really demand a lot from the computer to make it happen. Just one of those trade offs!

Shooting the gun is left click. I did try to shoehorn in instructions for that at the beginning of the game but a voice queue would have been better. I would have done that but I ran out of time. 😞

Sorry about the lighting - I tried to keep it from being too dark but I’m still working on fine-tuning those skills. And thanks for the compliment on the voice acting, that means a lot coming from you. 🙂

Thanks for the feedback, and I’m glad you enjoyed what you saw!

It's okay. I think the lighting is just a me thing. I am on the spectrum so muted colors naturally jar me, especially if they are dark (Mauve, and Peuce are my least favorite colors funnily enough). It's kind of why I usually can't sit through most horror games on 3D engines funnily enough.

But yeah I even joked with someone your game updated my graphics card on the computer I inherited from my Dad (he had it since 2013).

A voice cue could work wonders but I worry it might feel kiddish doing that since I only heard it in Sonic the Hedgehog games. It might be the only choice I guess. Your voice naturally was nice to listen to before getting into a stealth mechanic like that.

Also, I gotta be honest the jump from RPGMaker to Unreal was pretty big for you. I kind of have that anxiety if I decide to jump from RPGMaker to RenPy as I still haven't quite mastered eventing in the former. But that jump makes me happy for you as well. You seem to have a strong grasp on it and I hope it helps you improve on other engines as well!

This was a lot of fun! Was short and sweet, perfect for a jam! I'm still impressed you can make games like this, it looks hard.

Yay, I’m glad you enjoyed it! It was indeed a lot of work, but between premade assets, a ton of tutorials, and a little help from my friends when I got stuck, it was actually quite manageable. 😃

Thanks again for playing and giving feedback. 🙂
