Love the art on this one, your sprite work is really good. Every level was just tense enough without being super difficult and moving around felt great too.

Also nice to hear George Winston's stuff here :) that soundscape fits well with this platformer, somehow. Maybe it compliments the quiet nature of being alone under the sea?

thanks for the kind words glad you enjoyed it! Also happy to hear of another Winston fan. Not enough people know his music. I wish I could take credit for the sprites but with a few minor exceptions it’s all assets. I just pick a palette and convert them in aseprite. They are all linked in the game page if you wanna check any of them out.

Really enjoyed the writing with this one. I wanna know more about the back story of the characters now! The gameplay was fun too :)

You kept dropping hints about "what happened last run" and "I know how much you hate doing these, but I can't thank you enough," to the point where I was expecting a big twist. And then the game looped. Which is actually the perfect twist.

If you make a larger release, please consider reinforcing that twist with elements that encourage replayability, such as a high score/best time tracker, optional pickups, random level generation (ambitious), maybe even a "Groundhog Day," "escape-the-loop" sort of narrative.

Great job! Definitely saw the tie in with the theme, and was impressed with the story (I love that you went big with it). Would love to see the addition of Coyote time and fine tuning some of the jumps if you continue the project

thanks for playing and glad you liked the story. Was worried it was gonna be annoying for people. I do have coyote time implemented but probably should add more time if it’s not even noticeable. Saw some of your game in vims stream earlier and it looked dope and with tons of polish. Gonna check it out tomorrow and rate it.

Thanks! And heard, Coyote time can be such a finicky thing to fine tune, the platforming felt solid overall, just something I noticed

Fun game and a great take on the Crossing Path theme. I enjoyed the narrative too. Only feedback is some of the art styles clash a little (eg. the ship and background tile set). Overall, great work.

Fun game! I liked the overall theme and atmosphere, with the little bits of story sprinkled in.

Nice game, loved the story, i usually don't try to write a story on game jams and i always amazed when someone do !
