This game was fun, and somewhat different from the other "collectibles that move" games. And the there-and-back with a boomerang was nice too. A bit eerie until the end, then a more peaceful music on the end screen. And the start screen (had to reload the game to get back to that) I think might be a bit weird to listen to, but it's not a part of the game where players would spend a lot of time, so I guess I don't care much about how that sounded when listened to for a whole minute. And the boomerang making a sound when picking up koalas worked well too.
Level six was a bit weird. Was the boomerang supposed to be able to go through that wall? At some point I even got it stuck on the wrong side, but at some point it flew out of the screen and appeared back on the starting side. And I did manage to get it through the wall in both directions, it just seemed weird when red walls were the ones it couldn't go through in other places.
Art: Pretty good, maybe I would have made the koalas a bit lighter-coloured to make them easier to see, but it wasn't a big deal for me.
Other things: sometimes the boomerang would go to another place than where I clicked. I'm guessing that has to do with the conversion from 2D screen coordinates clicked on to a 3D direction, but I thought I'd mention this gave me some inaccurate throws until I figured out how to offset my clicks to be in the places that would actually become the right direction in 3D. Also, after beating the game I clicked on levels and tried to play some levels again, but didn't mean to play all of them again. But then when I wanted to hear the ending music, some levels I'd already beaten were marked as no longer beaten, so I had to play some more levels again to listen to that. Maybe when each level finishes you could have remembered which score the player had after it, so you wouldn't need to reset scores in later levels when the player beats earlier levels again. But since they weren't that many levels and I knew how to beat them, it wasn't that annoying to have to play them again.
It was fun and the music was interesting to listen to. Good job!
Good game, but the music is a bit uneasy. Would love to have my game rated by you as well!
Nice concept!
And the boomerang is "back and there" literally hahaha
A background music would have been good!
I'd appreciate a lot if you check out my game too and give me some feedback!
Other than some bugs (in the web version at least) the game is real nice! i love the music and models! really great work!
It would mean a lot if you could check out my Jam submission if you get the chance. Thanks!
Really nice idea! The level button was positioned in a weird place, but other than that i don't have any other complaints! Nice game
