Obviously unfinished but fun! I hope you had fun on your first jam (it was my first too) and I think you'll be able to make some good games in the future. For the start this is great. Keep up! If you decide to do something with this, tell me, I'd love to see what you dreamed up originally.

good
I hope you play our game as I played your game

This has good foundations for a great finished game. Nice main character and artwork on the key, really crisp. Jump height for the first level surprisingly high which helps to manoeuvre quickly. Looking forward to seeing your next stuff!

I also would be appreciative if you could spare a few minutes to check out my game for some feedback too

Even though it's just one level and it's unfinished, I see the potential here! The movement is smooth and I like how shooting the cards feel. I would've loved to play a game like this! For your first ever game jam, this is a good step in the right direction. Good luck with your future jams! If you have the time, I'd also appreciate if you tried my game out!

Even so it is not finish, it look promising.
The Controller felt very good and on point.
Would have loved to see the finished game.
Next time! :-)

Good job

I’ve seen there are a few “finish your prototype” style jams around. I may have to jump on one of those!

Looks good considering this was your first jam! This is a fun experience and will teach you more for your next jam :)

It's my first jam as well. I'd be happy if you give a rate and a feedback on my game too :)

Good feeling platformer controller for you first jam ever! Nice work

Developer

Thanks! I put a lot of work into making the movement feel nice, I’m not a fan of floaty, loose feeling controls :)

NIce one. Fits theme perfectly. Very stress-free experience. One small bug though. You can throw cards through the wall if you stand close to it.

Developer

Very stress free! I love that description! I noticed that bug about 15 mins before submission :( That’s what happens when you have to offset the spawn point of the cards away from the player to fix a bug where the little guy collected them as he threw them.

Looks promising. Too sad you ran out of time. Maybe next time set your scale lower ;)

For me it was my second jam, and I can tell you. Your next one will become a lot easier

Developer

I feel like I have a bit of a better grip on the concepts now and I’m hopeful for the next one being a little easier!

Very good for a first jam!
