Very cool idea, but I think in execution it becomes pretty tedious. Most levels have a point where myself and the demon are just chugging along at a snails pace across the map for a solid minute before I get to anything. I think solid enemies that you can avoid might work a bit better because as it is sometimes there is no way to escape this guy no matter how much you try to outthink him. Art style was super cool though!
