how the game fits the theme?
In this Halloween-themed typing game, you play as a baby monster. Your encouraging father is teaching you how to be spooky for the first time. It’s essentially the monster version of baby steps.

Oh, this was absolutely delightful. So creative, and a lot of fun! In a few years, I would LOVE a version of this with additional difficulty levels to have my kids practice typing. Could maybe use some custom sound work, but what you have is serviceable. Really great work!

Overall an uplifting game with wolf teaching kids how to scare! I was not fast enough for this one and maybe I should be polishing my typing skills! Lol! An excellent game nonetheless! You have a wishlist on Steam if you launch it there :D

I love this game! So innovative that you mixed a typing-spelling challenge game with the "What's the Time, Mr. Wolf?" game that we used to play as kids! The halloween twist was pretty clever too with the wolf trying to teach his kid how to do scares. Super cute! Can't wait for you to develop this fully :D
P.S. I don't get how Gary really works. He's suppose to scare the little wolf - so, does he get closer with time, or does he get closer with wrong words?
Glad you loved it. What a coincidence because I’ve never heard of Mr. Wolf haha! Also Gary does get closer with time, but you can knock him back by typing correctly. ;)

Also, as someone who cannot do jump scares under any circumstances, THANK YOU SO MUCH for giving us an option to opt out. I wouldn't have been able to play the game otherwise.
What a great game!
Alas there’s a game-breaking bug: I’m not able to enter an exclamation mark, so I can’t play Monster Mode. (Linux, tried both Chrome and Firefox, US-English layout).
Also, not as big a deal, but I wish the intro and between-rounds menu were navigable by keyboard. It’s a mild nuisance to have to reach for the mouse when the game doesn’t otherwise need it.
It’s a great concept, and the presentation is charming. I wish there were more like this!
