The jellyfish thruster could have a bit more power to it. Good job on making it in one day!
Please add upgrades and a parry system.
Oh that stream thing is beautiful and a worthy enemy.
The birds were an inspired addition honestly!
I really like the not-dying part. As a non-gamer, dying frequently and having to do over from the very beginning in a game every time is one of the most agonizing aspects of playing those games. But in this game, I can keep on playing right there in place. I also like the soothing water ambience sound and the visual of the underwater current. And the jellyfish actually goes with the current!
The direction of the drag-to-aim action is counter to my normal intuition--yours is like doing slingshots in Angry Birds, but mine was like drawing an arrow from the tail of the arrow to the head. In other words, if using the arrow drawing analogy and the arrow's head points to where you want the jellyfish to go, yours is like drawing the head of an arrow first and then the tail of the arrow. Different people have different intuitions about the direction of drag to aim. It does not mean which one is right or wrong. I just wanted to mention it.
My wife"s first words after seeing this game, "THE JELLY IS SOOO CUTE". Also had fun playing it! Great work!
really calm and relaxing game!! You really nailed the underwater aesthetic! From the bubbles popping to the parallex shift for the BG. The music at the end was kinda funny haha. The game kinda reminds me of the wallpaper mode in Insaniquarium Deluxe xD Overall good job!!
Wow this is actually a really cool game!
I'm surprised by the variety and complexity of enemy patterns you added in such a short time, and how each predator's attack pattern is accurately portrayed by their real life counterparts, such as the kingfisher bird.
I also really liked the vibes of the game and the controls are also very unique and engaging. The animations were also well done and I liked the little details like bubbles rising and even popping when the jellyfish touches them, very nice polish and VFX. The art also evoked a very nice, immersive underwater mood.
Loved the ending congratulatory music btw, very charming game! Well done~
