You have a super amazing game concept. Are you planning to continue the development of your game?
Thank you! Yes I am working on the game as we speak and intend to bring out an improvement soon.
Cool idea! didnt realize collisions were valid on reruns! my darn self pushed me over! fun game indeed! cudos!
I think that things going wrong is a Murphy's Law. I encourage you to continue developing the game.
Cool concept, it feels I'm playing a coop game with myself.
Thats great to hear! Thats exactly what i was going for.
Quite a fun game, the echo feature is really well executed! :) I only do think the echo’s should not collide with each other but only collide with the player. Because at some point my echo’s were really clunky.
But well done :)
Hey thanks for the feedback!
Though, the echos dont inherently collide with each other, they are just being teleported to create the illusion of movement. What is happening though is that when you are playing and you collide with an echo, that collision is recorded in movement so it will just be played back as if that happened again.
What i think you are talking about is when an echo pushes you away and makes you clip through some stuff, and that i would like to fix but thats pretty complex…
Anyway, thanks for bringing it up though, and im glad you like the concept.
Ah that makes sense 🙌
Amazing game! This is a completely unique take on the game jam theme and I love the main mechanic where you can smoothly rewind the time and I especially love your sound design, really great job!
Thanks a lot for the kind words. If you havent already, i recommend to try and download the game instead and then listen to the music actually go back in time as well instead of just moving forward again.
I wasn't sure about the game at first but once I pressed 'R' it was fun from there! Sad it ended to fast :(
Great submission, and hope to see more content later on!
Im glad the game was still able to impress you just in time… I am currently still developing it and am intending to actually make a few levels for it to better demonstrate so do keep an eye out for it.
Will do!
Having a bunch of entities hoping around looks fun. But getting to that stage is quite tedious. 20 seconds for a loop is a lot. I would like to be able to end it preemptively. (Never mind I read from comment above about R button, thought it complete level restart)
Idea definitely has potential. I would really like to see a more complex level.
Thanks for the feedback!
Yeah i can imagine that the 20 seconds start to feel annoyingly long if you didnt know how to rewind manually. I share the sentiment of it needing more levels, i am currently working on it and intend to release it when ready. Another thing that is already implemented that you may also appreciate is that the rewind time speeds up gradually so that even that doesnt take as long.
Hope to see your feedback again on any of the updates :)
Enjoyed that thoroughly, nice work!
Nice main mechanic that could be extended into a bigger project, fits the theme with repeating sequences . Good work!
Cool main mechanic. Would love to have a button that skips the run back animation if I want too so I can run through future levels faster (If you ever decide to continue developing the game). This aside something else I liked is having the option to rewind mid air, so for your next runs your clone stays frozen in the air. This might pose problems in future levels, if you keep it and don't design all levels with this possibility in mind.
Ey thanks for the amazing feedback!
Yeah i agree with the speed up rewind feature, as a matter effect, that is already implemented, but once i build the game, that feature break completely… and i did not have enough time to debug it before submission end.
I intend to go on with development, and am actually working on it right now, so do expect more updates after the vote time.
I like that you mention the in air freeze mechanic (its not a bug, its a feature) because im still trying to workout if i want to patch that out or want to use it in some way…
Hope to see you in some of the updates for the game and see if you like the additions. Thanks again for the feedback. GGs!
