Woah! Incredible, I can't believe you done that in 10h. Amazing idea and execution. The mouse sensitivity is too high for me and the screen shake is a little bit too strong - it gave me a headache, but other than that really amazing. I wish I recorded my face when I played it and noticed the bear first time. It really scared me. Great job!
yeah, neither do I! I am not good with jams because im usually slow and a little bit perfeccionist, but over the years ive built a solid framework for game making, so all of my game use them, its only a matter of doing logic specific for the game.
about the sensitivity I made the game on Mac, and it seems that both handles sensitivity values very differently, idk why, should've tested on windows :(
"Teddy loved a bad boy"
Overall great submission, especially for the timeframe!
Pros:
- Good sound.
- Great animations!
- Game looked good.
- Awesome premise and use of the provided assets!
- Enemy AI felt good.
Cons:
- Player controller needs work, felt jittery at times
- MOUSE SENSETIVITY
The big teddy bear was damn scary! 😂 Beside that the mouse sensitivity is way too high for my liking, wish I had an option to change that beside physically changing my dpi physically.
Well done!
My first Impression was with the music / ambience. It certainly went well with the atmosphere! There was a little confusion at first with what to do, but once the player psychology kicked in everything made sense - my girlfriend and I tried to play through a few times and you 'got' us - Granted that's because you got me and that got her during one of her playthroughs. We found the footsteps to be a little loud, but volume was necessary in order to hear what you need to hear ;) - we got as far as finding the band aids a couple times but the 'Alert' noise got to be a bit much for us after a while. Overall, we had a lot of fun playing this. VERY TENSE. Excellent work!
