Nice tribute to Bomberman! There are a few things to polish, sometimes the character gets stuck on tiles, and occasionally bombs don't appear (not sure if that's part of the mechanics).
Still, it's a very appealing game overall. Hope the Jam goes well for you. Congrats on the work!

Ahh I love a good old bomberman! It’s only too bad that you could walk through the bomb including the enemy ai.. :( plus no destructable tiles. But really liking the idea you put into this!

Cool bomberman game! I feel like you had kind of the same idea as our game too lol! This bomberman is solid but shame you couldn't incorporate more elements from Vampires. If you think about it, bomberman IS a kind of vampire survivor too in termes of original gameplay??
Yeah, it's a shame, time is always running fast on game jams. I guess we should've narrowed the scope a bit, because too many ideas were left unfinished. At least we had a blast making it, hope you had some fun too!
And yes, after thinking about it, Bomberman is pretty similar to Vampire Survivors gameplay-wise :D
I'm having trouble seeing the theme; it's well executed, but I don't think it's missing something original?
It's timeless in a sense that Bomberman is a timeless classic and also that it has no time limit. Initial idea was to also include elements from Vampire Survivors as it also become some sort of a classic of its genre but we managed to implement only constant enemy flow. Thanks for reaching out 😁
