Ammunition Fire Sale: not my cup of tea exactly. A bit too much beat and too little melody for me, but I am more of a melody-kind-of-guy anyway. For a simple town idea however, where something simple and repetitive works very well, I think it might fit in just fine!

Haunted Daze Inn: not bad! The first melody you got going works well. While a little more variation in that initial melody is recommended  (as it plays nearly consistently throughout the entire song), I do like it.

Vegan Zanzibarland: besides having a crazy fun name, it got a nice rhythm going. Nice and crazy, with a sound fitting a world both inhabited by scientific technologies (the 'buzzing') yet a simple almost-wood-sounding drum-ticking.

Overall, though repetitive songs are often not my cup of tea, I think the songs are pretty good! Mainly Vegan Zanzibarland is quite good, followed by Haunted Daze Inn.

Vegan Zanzibar Land: This track would work extremely well in the city you describe and gives a sort of survivalist game feel. The percussion really drives the piece forward. Though my favorite part is the subtle string tremolo underlying the track in certain places and the string bass ostinato.

Ammunition Fire Sale: The beat, especially when the 16th note clinking emerges, is really catchy. It sounds like ammunition is being dropped into boxes rhythmically which is a cool auditory background for a weapons shop theme. I’m a fan of the analog noise that rhythmically falls until landing on the long note.

Haunted Daze Inn: I find it an interesting choice that you used a major key when writing for a haunted inn. The out-of-tune-ness of the instruments does emphasize the “haunted” portions of this song though - good creative choice.

Overall these are some great percussive works that would definitely lay well in the background of the type of city you describe. Some of the samples used have some static that are most prominent when it’s just percussion, but it disappears from being a distraction when the pad is playing in the background. Overall, great work and thank you for sharing!

It's dangerous even trying to enter the town, and the first music gives that vibe really well! Good work!

I find your songs very creative, you can definitely feel the danger! Even if I didn't imagine Photosynthesis city this way, I was thrown into a mechanic jungle listening to this, congrats :)

Vegan Zanzibar Land and Ammunition Fire Sale are based on strong and marked rhythms that give a tribal aspect. The atmosphere is not serene (you can feel it with Haunted Daze Inn), the threat is never far.

It works well with the universe you depict of a village in harmony with nature but which is forced to defend itself against external threats.

Congratulations for your compositions.

Vegan Zanzibarland gives serious Terraria / Spore vibes, love the way you took this!
