This looked amazing! Well done! I love the low-poly art style and the character looked amazing! I loved that you even decorated outside the house! The scary red eyes in the distance was a nice touch!
There's not much I would improve accept the gameplay itself, the interactions were simple and easy to understand but I didn't see an end to the game, overall a great looking game!
I'd love to see this polished out with better ai navigation and some more depth!

Wow this room looked so great and all the little haunted animations were fantastic!
What I Liked:
- I love that the room felt authentic and polished. The graphics and animations all fit so well.
- The visual ques on what you could interact with as a ghost a huge design bonus. Such a simple, but powerful thing!
- The voice over was hilarious and the rest of the audio design fit so well!
Some Notes:
- It was a bit hard to start the game without any Ray Interactors showing.
- I'm sure it was a time issue to implement fully, but I was never able to fully scare the person away. There were also some random numbers appearing above the fireplace. I couldn't decide if it was some scare amount needed to chase him away or not.
This game looks and sounds great! It was a blast playing.
Cheers on a great submission!
Thanks glad you liked it! The ray interacter kept breaking on is so I gave up on reimporting the xr rig. It's fully dependent on the time limit, which in retrospect was too long. But I think a mechanic to fully scare him away would be very fun. There is also a secret room behind the corner bookshelf but I feel it needed a better indicator thst it's There.
Impressive graphics! It didn't run for me in SteamVR but ran smoothly with OpenXR of Oculus.
Very cool idea of playing as a ghost 👏🏻
Adorable! I sadly wasn't able to fully scare him away, but it was really fun to chase him around the room with spooks. I would have wanted more interactivity with the props, but I get how game jams are, and the art / art direction was 12/10. Full gameplay here:
Nicely done! The look of the game is really great - and that voiceover is funny - oooooowwww!
I did have a few problems with collision though, sometimes I couldn't get to places and I fell through the world a few times (near the phone) and had to restart.
Good solid entry and enjoyable to play :)
A few other people had some trouble with collisions near the phone. There is a passthrough tag to allow the player to go through some objects. As they are a ghost it also let us put a secret room into the map. Something must have gotten that tag when it wasn't supposed to and we didn't catch it in testing.
Fun! I think midnight took too long to strike, and there was a counter I guess for points but I really could not decipher how that was being calculated.
Hahaha, very cool take on the theme. Spooking the character was fun. I did fall through the floor and into oblivion when I tried to set off the phone. I think some of the colliders may have been a bit big and I had trouble reaching some of the objects like the record player and the phone. Still very fun take on the idea! Those synty assets are damn good looking in VR!
Right! I am glad one of our team recommended them. There should be colliders on the phone and a record player that makes reaching them easier. I hadn't had trouble with the record, but I had knowledge of the phone being a trouble maker. Something I didn't know is that the phone area has a hole in the colliders! live and learn.
